Wolves A Match Thread

Recommended Posts

We are far to slow when we turn over the ball, we pass it around and go back and play into wolves hands and let them get every man behind the ball!!! Need to get it forward quicker, wolves are comitting men forwArd when attacking but we just pass it around the back let wolves get back and when we get it forward its to easy for them.

**** me does chilly have a football brain?

Convinced Rodgers is a good but not a good manager. Always scribbling crap down but we continue to play only one style of football no matter who is on the field.  He only knows one way to play sadly. He can't change the outcome. It is only when we conceed and the opposing sit back a little we up our pace of attack. Really so easy to defend against

Need a kick up the ass second half

playing like it’s a nothing end of season game

Too many players standing and not making any runs off the ball when were in possession.

Yes were having a great season.....but we need to push on and not wimper over the line.

Plenty of points  to play for and we haven’t seemed right for a good few months, hope Rodgers giving them words as don’t want complacency setting in thinking we’re guaranteed CL.

And keep Vardy up on corners.

Nothing wrong with VAR as a concept, but it's massively highlighting the grey areas in the laws of the game.

I find that decision ridiculous but where offside is concerned, its black and white, he was offside. Removing VAR isn't the answer, it's time to revamp the laws.

The point about 'if it's offside it's offside, yes or no' etc. etc. Well yes, but it's just frustrating that something so miniscule can go punished, while something obvious like a handball or a terrible call on a potential penalty can go unpunished.

It feels selective and inconsistent and the FA did themselves no favours with their 'clear and obvious' line.

Keep the offsides as they are with VAR, but make sure everything else is properly monitored as well. Let referees view the screen and reward them for admitting mistakes.

Oh and we're playing horrible football. Schmeichel is doing my head in. Chilwell and Tielemans still can't play football. In for a long half.

Kaspar is poor yet again, but really all of them are poor, no guile at all. Second to the ball, Wolves have acres of space to run into down our right hand side, Vardy still on Mars and the less said about YT the better. He is robbing us at the moment, he just gets slower and slower. 11 points from nine games is very worrying. Maybe not for this season but next year perhaps.  We started off ok bur has already been said we got worse as the half progressed. By half time we were a complete mess.

Just now, Crazy Kop Corner said:

Incredibly lucky - if it were the other way round I’d be spewing - the ball looks to be played back - how can that be offside?

Because the man was in front of the ball when it was played.

The same thing happened with Iheanacho’s disallowed goal against Southampton(?) a few weeks ago. The ball hit Evans’ head, went backwards, hit a Southampton player and bounced to Iheanacho who was offside when Evans played it.

First 10 minutes was ok, got gradually worse and we looked a total shower last 10.

Chilwell looks a yard slower after Dubai, and with Traore to come on 2nd half that could get exposed horribly.

Weve got to start moving the ball quicker and with more accuracy, its all so safe and pedestrian and there is no snap to our attacking play. Ally that with our propensity to turn the ball over in dangerous areas and sudden inability to deal with crosses and its not a recipe for success.

Id take 0-0 in a heartbeat here, but moving forwards, Rodgers has got to get us setting the tempo of the game like earlier in the season. That aggression and intensity has all but disappeared and its affecting every facet of our game.
