Not in the traditional sense of course, technically not a single one of them is an actual left back..... but if we're comfortable with that then money is better spent elsewhere really.

Absolute perfection for me would be Mcgreor and Sessegnon. 

 

A versatile CM with plenty of experience despite his age and a young natural LB who can also deputize as a LW when needed. 

 

McGregor for around the £20m mark and Sessegnon on a year loan with option to buy.

as much as the ship has probably sailed I’m still clinging to the hope that we pay the 25m for Benhrama. 

 

Now that we have under in for the right side. Having him to cover Barnes/Madison/under would be a huge improvement on Gray. 

 

When we have one of those games when Barnes is off it, it would be so amazing to have someone like Benhrama, he offers a completely different challenge for defenders.

He may want two more, but Fofana broke the budget.  Unless we get a crazy offer for one of our offloads any new adds will be $2-3 million squad players.

You could add any fee we got for Diabate and the little cabbage, however, this will probably be offset with Under's loan fee.

Can see Choudhury being sold if McGregor is signed, so that could be another £10m - £15m and of course Benkovik is likely to go out on loan again, so there would  be fee associated with that deal. Not sure if James may be moved on too. And last but not least, we may even sell Ghazzel.

I think we could do with a midfielder (didn’t think I’d be saying that at the start of this season!). With injuries to Ndidi, Praet and of coarse Matty James(!), we’re a bit short, all of a sudden. Would love to see us loan Ruben Loftus Cheek for a season.
