If you're going to kick the shit out of anyone, do it to a Coventry boy

Cmon now mate, I know we’re all frustrated Madison wasn’t playing yesterday but kicking him wouldn’t help

Fair but he got away with far more than he got caught doing throughout his career.

I actually think a peak Wasyl playing alongside Cags might be my dream centre back partnership.

Wasyl elbowing James Vaughan and getting him sent off for the privilege brings a tear to the eye

Fine by me.

My only gripe is that  he should have done some damage if he was gonna get a red card for it lol

Anyway, time to move on from this. Damage done yesterday, he's apologised.

Kasper and Soyuncu have apologised, rightly, and accepted responsibility. Others, like Fuchs, Evans, Justin (in fact, pretty much the rest of the side - Vardy and Marc excepted - and some of the subs) should follow suit. I don't care whether I hear the manager uttering the words 'I screwed it up', but it's vital that he knows he did.

Surprised so many have forgiven him. The implications of that kick are huge. Defence buggered for rest of the season. And with eleven men, you’d have still had a chance of an equaliser. A point which would still have us 4th tonight regardless

He's a silly boy but I get why. Frustration and heat of the moment. We all do it. It's not the defining moment and he'll learn from it.

I'm more angry at Kasper for his daft kick that put us right up the creek and for Brendan for changing to a defensive shape when we should have pushed for a comfier lead. The game was lost by the time Cags got carded.

Sums it up for me. He needs to know he fvcked up and learn from it.

Great to see he's not hiding, but it's still such a stupid unforced error from a 'professional', that cost us in the short term and very much weakens our position for the remaining games too

A months wages to the tea ladies furlough fund, i feel.  He's lucky not to get nicked tbh.

Soyuncu was shoved in the goal, he then stupidly reacted and kicked out and the opponent fell to the floor in utter agony rolling about, giving the ref no choice.

The kick was hardly a touch, and there were no lasting effects, but it was stupid because we all know it gets you sent off every time.

What Soyuncu should have done when he was shoved in the goal is to fall to the floor clutching his face as if he'd been banjoed, Rivaldo like, to try and get his opponent booked or sent off.

But we all know that Soyuncu is rock hard and does not have a habit of rolling about and pretending to be hurt.

Yes it was a stupid act, and fair dos to Soyuncu for his apology, but the game rewards players for playing the victim rather than standing their ground.

Top post. Bang on the money.

Totally understand his frustration, player that is 100 % committed every minute of every game, and must be getting frustrated by those around him

Exactly. And powerless to stop your manager self inflicting defeat too. I so nearly threw the TV out the window and would have if some donkey barged me over!

Rejected.

I hate botched jobs, either kill him or don't get caught. Preferably both.

Who doesn't? Perhaps there is a link between this and his apology.

I accept the apology. To be fair, I sympathise. The red mist appeared. I'm sure it could happen to any of us in the same situation. It's dawning on you that your extremely promising season is halfway round the u-bend and all your efforts were in vain.

I'd appreciate an apology from Brendan. To us and Kelechi.
