We've got plenty of slow but skillful or hardworking players, we were crying out for pace. He's also completely one footed and predictable and not that technically good either. I don't understand how he plays at this level!!

theessexfox Posted 26 October 2020 Posted 26 October 2020 I’m increasingly thinking Harry Kane is actually a thoroughly likeable bloke, also a phenomenal player. 1

I agree with this. Superb forward, who gives his all for club and Country and conducts himself pretty well. At a time when people are very touchy about what they say and what they do, Kane has had the piss royally taken out of him for years because of the way he speaks (and of course, playing for spurs) Great player, nice bloke, deserves a bit more respect imo 6 1

Nicolo Barella Posted 27 October 2020 Posted 27 October 2020 Well, if we can't win this year, I'd like another team to win that hasn't before, whether its Everton or Spurs, no matter how unlikely it is.
Dan Posted 27 October 2020 Posted 27 October 2020 I'm not having them totally written off, stupid things are happening this season, they've got a winner in charge and goals in their team. That earlier was vintage Mourinho, god awful but they got the win. I'm just hoping the West Ham capitulation forces them into not daring to attack at home and it costs them points. Nobody stands out at all though.
trabuch Posted 27 October 2020 Posted 27 October 2020 (edited) Spurs would be the absolute worst team of the non usuals to win the league. They somehow seem to have elected themselves as one of the big six despite winning **** all. If you play for them and are English you are guaranteed a cap. Who are they? If they win the league you won't hear the last of it for the next 20 years.. Edited 27 October 2020 by trabuch 1

twister Posted 27 October 2020 Posted 27 October 2020 in the 90s their fanbase acted like they were gods gift to the world, even though arsenal were the ones winning the league Thats the type they are

Nalis Posted 27 October 2020 Posted 27 October 2020 What on earth have I read over the last few pages, Spurs beat Burnley and they are going to win the league? It will be Liverpool or Man City. 1

Even the BBC jumped on the bandwagon which is hilarious given they're fifth, the entire top like 13 or whatever is condensed and Tottenham were ****ing garbage yesterday.

Manager, a couple of elite forwards and a pretty decent squad could see them get close. Domestic and European competition could be their undoing, as I believe that screwed them in the spring of 2016,our FA Cup replay defeat to them, done us a massive favour with our small squad imo. Still think Liverpool are the team to beat, even without VVD

Leicester_Loyal Posted 27 October 2020 Posted 27 October 2020 Spurs are not winning the league, be serious people. Can't see past Liverpool, but think the VVD injury is a big loss, which will actually make the race a lot closer than it was going to be. Nice to see others in the top 4/6 for once, long may it continue.
