All that little skinny nob with the hat on ever goes on about constantly is "he should have been booked/sent off." He does my head in. They have this massive conspiracy theory going on that all the refs are clubbing together to conspire against Arsenal. As if anyone gives a shit about them enough to go to those lengths 1

StanSP Posted 6 February 2021 Posted 6 February 2021 Villa will be gutted if they don't win this. Been comfortably better than Arsenal all game. 2

I have to say, they've impressed me all season. What a job Dean Smith has done. They weren't much cop when promoted. Shithoused the play offs really. Promoted by stealth. They were low grade all last season and scraped home under huge pressure. Now they're blossoming. Even if it is Villa, who I have a natural dislike for, it's good to see a team develop 'organically' 1

StanSP Posted 6 February 2021 Posted 6 February 2021 You wouldn't want the ball smashing the face of a player any more than Grealish 1

Constant fouling and then as soon as grealish gets touched they're outraged. Maybe that' how villa need to play against the so called big 6, it works for them anyway irrating the opposition.

Fourth highest net spend after Chelsea, Everton & Leeds. We had a net spend of about £10m. I don't know where they got their money from but it was a massive gamble considering their previous season but it looks as though it has payed off unfortunately. I was nearly as gutted by them staying up as I was by our collapse last year. Apparently Burnley spent a whole £1m last year on Dale Stephens. Edited 6 February 2021 by murphy 1

The Bear Posted 6 February 2021 Posted 6 February 2021 Lol at Keown suggesting Grealish enjoys going over when he feels any contact.

Wymsey Posted 6 February 2021 Posted 6 February 2021 Grealish's swagger with the ball is very easy on the eye. 1
StanSP Posted 6 February 2021 Posted 6 February 2021 I know it's Grealish but what did he get booked for and how was it an Arsenal free kick

UniFox21 Posted 6 February 2021 Posted 6 February 2021 Wouldn't class Mings and Watkins as young players at 27 and 25.
winteriscoming Posted 6 February 2021 Posted 6 February 2021 Villa look a very good side. Looks like they’ve improved defensively. Also look threatening going forward.
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 6 February 2021 Posted 6 February 2021 As usual the British media will discuss how Arsenal lost the match and not focus on how Villa won the match, so much bias towards the so called top 6 teams 2
