Being mid twenties, Pearson is how I imagine that O’Neill felt to the old boys. It’s hard to see another manager coming in like him. It felt like every facet of the club moved forwards under him, there was a real direction and everybody on both the playing staff and back room staff knew their role and what was expected of them. Such a good feeling across the club and it was extremely easy to get excited for the football every week. 
 

Should build Pearson the Redeemer overlooking the City from Beacon Hill in my opinion.

Nigel Pearson is the only person on this planet I would describe as my role model and idol. And am really disappointed to have not met him so far in my life.

 

I hope he sees this thread somehow and realises how much he is appreciated at Leicester.

Winning the league with over 100 points is something that’s deserves much more credit too.

Sometimes the way he spoke to people was warranted, and fair play to him for that, other times he could come across as arrogant and unnecessarily rude.

Rodgers being a much more likeable person than Pearson is definitely one of the worst takes I've heard.

 

Nige is a proper bloke, up front and honest. Good values and someone you'd love to go for a beer with.

 

Rodgers would only talk to you if it would somehow benefit him in some way and would gone before he finishes his rose spritzer. "Remember to tell people how nice I was to you" as he licks his chapped lips and leaves you to finish the remainder of your pint alone.

I'd happily have a beer with Rodgers, tbf. I imagine talking football to him would be really insightful (but then I would probably also say the exact same thing about Pearson, too).

At Celtic he told a huge anecdote about Danny McGrain, all time legend of Celtic and when asked about McGrain said the conversation never took place.
