Les-TA-Jon Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 surprised by the complaints. Loads of key injuries. Two games a week for the foreseeable future. Squad too thin to rotate much. It’s going to be fairly pragmatic for a while, especially away against the top 6

Beliall Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 watching negative tactics like this makes it hard to get the brodge. we can play these, so ****ing play them 1

wardyfox86 Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 Sometimes on a Sunday evening, I find myself just moping around waiting for the inevitable Monday morning, feeling sorry for myself .....so I know how the players feel. 1
Dames Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 The only positive from that is we aren’t losing. 2
car1os Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 Has anyone paid £15 for this? Luckily I didn’t. Hoping this is part of Brendan’s master plan and we fly out of the blocks in the 2nd half...
AyewJoking Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 Brenden will be licking his bollocks right now. His plan is somehow working, now to bring on vardy and maybe try to score???
oxtonfox Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 Rodgers is jamming this so far. Poor first half and just no real threat again with this set up. Only getting away with it because olf their poor finishing and a dodgy disallowed goal. We need to wake up and stop this poor version of Claaudeball that doesn't threaten. 1

katieakita Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 Think clearly we would have settled for 0-0 at half time so see how we go from here at least we do have options

Chester Dontlie Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 It's hard to be optimistic watching us play like this. BR needs to shake things up and inject some of that old qualitee & intesitee into our players. They look clueless and toothless 1
Guest Kopfkino Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 Either Tielemans or Praet needs hooking, both playing far too safe. If you play like this you've got to play it quick and take a bit of a risk. Their midfield is doing great, pressed onto ours to make any transition tough, especially with our lack of width. Under for Praet makes sense, get him to provide the get-out width rather than Justin.
Jack1993 Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 Just under 10 minutes until kick off, can’t wait - I think we’ll be defensive 1st half 1

Popular Post StanSP Posted 25 October 2020 Author Popular Post Posted 25 October 2020 I don't know what everyone else expected with the line up put out. We've not conceded early like in previous games. We've not gone behind. Yes there have been a couple of scares but all in all we've done the job in keeping them out. It paves the way for us, hopefully (!), to be a bit more expressive in 2nd half and make necessary changes to go at them. It's not been pretty by any means and I know we all love our swash-buckling attacking football but we'd be so exposed and open against this Arsenal side. I want our passing to be more effective and we have to get another player in support for Barnes. We've got the ball a couple of times in good positions in the middle but not had anyone to pass to to attack. 6

twister Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 Keep playing like this and its only ends one way like watching burnley away negative and trying to hang on for 90 minutes he will look a genius of course if he somehow pulls of a result, but if he doesn't this foroum will light up tonight, we shall see. 1
5waller5 Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 Brendan wtf. Barnes is not a number 9, my granny could have told you that. You've wasted a winger. Do we have a plan apart from let them score first?
Dan Posted 25 October 2020 Posted 25 October 2020 It's basically everything I expected it would be, we're only level because Lacazette is shit. I don't mind playing defensively if you have a threat on the break but there've been a number of times where we nicked the ball and ended up turning back because of lack of bodies. Maddison's got to get on the ball more. It may come off but we've got away with it so far. 2
