So happy for him. Came in in July when even he probably thought he wouldn't have to. Played much better than some seniors and has shown lots of potential and composure. 

 

Glad he got the goal! Look forward to seeing how he progresses.

Texted some of my old Wreake Valley school friends who are now scattered around the world that someone from our school just scored for Leicester City, and I was quickly reminded that by the time I’d left Wreake Luke Thomas hadn’t even been born.

If we keep playing wing backs I'd keep him in for time being. Offers a bit balance on the left, and uses the ball well. Obviously will make mistakes defensively but won't be perfect at this age. Great fitness as well, came in and played the full game without even looking tired.

He deserves a lot of credit. He showed good intelligence to drift inside when Madison received the ball. Many would have dropped back and given Madison the easy option.

Impressed, as I have been with him all season. For 19 years old he's class.

 

Plenty for him to work on, but you can tell there's a real player here. For me the most impressive aspects of his game are his awareness of what's going on around him and ability to pick the right pass at the right time.

He'sgot good footballing technique and although he's not some rapid specimen of a player I think he can develop in to a very good player. His ability at passing and crossing is already at a good level and he seems to be coping quite well with the physical aspects of the game. This season he has faced Braga twice, Leeds and Wolves who are all teams that are in your face at times and he's done well.

 

Glad he was kept on and Fuchs was sacrificed, it really was a toss up between the two and Rodgers could have been forgiven for replacing Thomas but it paid off. Buzzing for the lad.

He had a great game and I have to say that i was one of those who said he needed loaning out. I'm unsure though and I dont think he has the pace for this level. Bags of potential and lots of technical skill but not enough pace.

Similar was said about Barnes when he first came on the scene and he’s now rapid .

How was barnes ever slow?? That's like saying at 18 years old that someone could turn me into Usain Bolt 🤔
