Made heavy weather of it in the end, but a good win.

8 points from 4 Christmas fixtures including Spurs and Man Utd is a great return.

One defeat in eight......

Sky sports hate us. They’re full of woke bullshit. Frankly I’d rather not watch the game than watch on sky

Like anti racism? Get a grip.

On the main point, their coverage of us is appalling.

To be fair. Sky do this every Sunday, they move straight to the 16:30 game because it is so close to kick off.

These reface gifs are quickly becoming my favourite part of any post match thread!

Didn’t get to watch the game today but this tells me what I need to know before I watch the full match again later.

All you need to do is watch Madders celebration, no need to watch the rest lol

They say quite clearly “reaction on sky sports news” which is where they interview managers and talk about bits of the games. It’s not a new thing, the only solution would be having separate pundits and having games on different channels and they’re not going to fork out for that.

Well thought they did it for an hour before our match though lol

This is also true lol

Absolutely fantastic fighting spirit from the boys.

Evans, Ndidi and Albrighton all absolutely fantastic. Castange also is under the radar but is so so good.

We throw away that lead if every single player isn’t on it there in the last 10 mins. Our first 11 and strong as a unit.

We will go very far if we get that line up out most weeks!

Yes, not the greatest performance but who cares! 3 points and now puts the pressure on the others to win.

Can't help but feel Perez, Under and Praet must be getting incredibly frustrated at sitting on the bench though.

They'll all play against Stoke (probably).

To be fair... To Sky?

Perhaps it's their scheduling that's wrong. The drivel they're spewing out right now is just padding.

Sky normal suck up going on in the run up to the Chelsea Citeh game, interviewer to Guardiola what's it like coming into the game against a fellow big 6 club? Currently those teams sitting 6th and 8th. You can almost hear the sucking going on lower down just out of shot.

Wes, Marc and Youri stood out. Albrighton plays at the moment, we win. He is unshowy but puts in the hard graft and some great balls too especially the 2nd goal.

For those carping a bit that we made it hard work, remember that Liverpool didn't win there last out. So I'll take it and the 3 points.

Would have settled for draw before hand. We'd won the last 4 away so felt we may slip up today.

Delighted with the win. Much improved second half. Bar the 5 minutes in or around the Carroll goal we deserved it. Newcastle looked like hammer throwers.

Our good away form carries on. :scarf:

Albrighton had a decent game I thought despite all the hate he gets on here. However I would have like to see Under going at them after 75 - 80 mins or so.

Ya know, if we just had access to those five substitutes...

Not worth watching the build up or post match. Just switch on at KO time, then off straight after. Will always be same for any side unless it's Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, 'Pool or Spurs involved

That was a bit scrappy, but we showed the quality when needed. Set pieces still a massive worry, but we showed strength in the end seeing the game out. Fantastic 3 points without being any where near our best.

Let's be fair, the pundits sat through that shite so last thing they want to do is talk about it lol although saying that, they've probably been chatting amongst themselves rather than watching.

I don't really care what they talk about to be honest, got no interest in listening to them after the game. You can get interviews elsewhere.

I turned to Sky sports News and they are talking about man city v Chelsea interviewing Pep.

Good win, didn't need the sub at the end, it put us under pressure

We conceded from a corner, something we've done many times this season. Nothing to do with the substitution.
