Redknapp chucking out Fofana's name amongst Ferdinand, Van Dijk et al - saying he's gonna be the best in Europe in a few years. Hard to disagree with really, but first time I've heard such lofty praise from an 'outsider'.

I thought Timmy had his best game since returning from injury which was really pleasing to see.   Hopefully Timmy can continue to build on his progress-  I thought Albrighton's form really helped out rather than us having high expectations for his return.   It will be nice if it can be the case for Ricardo as well with our current form helping to ease him in.

Villa would have to win all 4 to just be level, I would much rather have the points

Fitting them all in as well will be tough. It's already tight enough. They'll drop points based on fatigue alone.

Villa with those 4 games in hand is unnerving.

But we're opening a gap between us and 7th.

1 being against Man City tomorrow and the other being Everton...

Some very complimentary things being said in the match comments on the bbc. My favourite:

"Leicester City are everything I wish my club ( Newcastle United) could be.
In the words of KK " I'd love it..just love it.." if Leicester City won the Premier League AGAIN !"

Imagine if Vardy starts scoring again...

Most impressive thing for me is that we don’t rely on him. Maddison and Barnes have stepped up and other players are showing that Vardy “never say die” mentality. Albrighton in particular.

Getting Ricky on the pitch bodes well. Having his pace and energy to bring on in Albrighton's position is a big plus. Also, it gives us the option to bed him back in while Castagne and Justin are still killing it. Starting him at RB against Brentford might well be the icing on the cake if he's ready.

We have more fit players than at the start of the season.

The players coming back are as good or better than those who got us to the to of the table.

We're offloading the deadwood.

We might even improve the squad in January.

The second half of the season can be better than the first half.

We are definitely contenders.

What I really loved tonight particularly 2nd half was NDiddi was pushing forward whenever he got the chance beyond the half way line and Fofana was stepping out to fill the DM role in his place.

While Youri kept it all ticking over like a Swiss Watch.

Superb to watch.
