Not when we've put it off for as long as we have, it's the one thing missing.

Well I guess they decided Seagrave and improving the team was more important to us in achieving success that would then help to pay for the upgraded stadium, unfortunately the pandemic messed up the plans. But we're still on course to achieve some success and get some substantial cash in to contribute to the upgrade without affecting our ability to improve on the pitch.

Okay. He's also a serial philanderer, an alleged abuser, whom I heavily suspect guilty, who doesn't know how many children he's got.

He has a long history of sexist and racist comments and is currently presiding over a government beset by corruption and incompetence.

Every politician may lie but i think we can view his lies as more than a trick of the trade. He's supposed to stand for traditional British values and anyone supporting him in that is admitting all of the above are elements of Britishness.

People like you are too weak and lacking in imagination to have opinions.

The British values things is a real tragedy.  If Johnson, who has a brief love-in with Woodward,

Is our leader, he is British values.  It's a major reason that I hate him despite trying to never hate anyone.  I used to say I hated Coventry City- just an immature expression of rivalry.  My feelings about the hyped 6 have been bitter for a long time.

The cornering of the football market is unpleasant.  Clubs who are not in the hyped 6 should be able to build a team to challenge as we did in 2016, as Clough did with Forest and Derby.  Burnley winning the league in the early 60s.  The variety is much more fun than watching Man City and Chelsea continually buying their way to the league with money from their oil rich owners who make Alexander Boris DePfeffel Johnson (Eton educted like the Archbishop of Canterbury who wants compassion for lobbyists) look like a paragon of virtue.

Another note about the booing of the 6 when fans are back in that first tweet- who are we booing? The owners won't be there, it isn't the players fault or the fans fault so we'd be booing people who aren't there and don't care.

All the stadiums should be singing in harmony something simple like Super League - You're have a laugh!

English fans don’t do it like the Germans apparently.

Keep ya 50% +1 we will always prevail.

Hate to break it you pal but Ze Germans are constantly kicking off in this manner over all sorts of things.

It's great we've caught on but there's a long way to go before we get the kind of stake in our game they get. Well done Man United.

European Super League: Premier League brings in new owners' rule to stop repeat
Last updated on2 hours ago2 hours ago.

Fans of the six clubs involved held widespread protests against the Super League
The Premier League is to bring in a new owners' charter to stop future attempts to join a breakaway Super League.

It follows Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham agreeing to join the failed European Super League last month.

All owners will have to sign up to the new rule "committing them to the core principles" of the league with breaches punished by "significant" sanctions.

The Football Association said an inquiry into the six clubs has started.

"The actions of a few clubs cannot be allowed to create such division and disruption," the Premier League said.

"We are determined to establish the truth of what happened and hold those clubs accountable for their decisions and actions."

The Football Association added: "We wrote to all of the clubs to formally request all relevant information and evidence regarding their participation.

"Once we have the required information, we will consider what appropriate steps to take."

The Super League proposal, which also included some of Europe's biggest clubs, collapsed within 72 hours after widespread criticism from fans, players and governing bodies and politicians.

There have been various calls for sanctions against the clubs, including points deductions, relegation and bans from European competitions.

The executives at the six clubs involved in the collapsed breakaway have been forced to resign from advisory roles at the Premier League.

Most of the clubs apologised and Manchester United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward resigned.

In its statement the Premier League said it would also introduce "additional rules and regulation to ensure the principles of the Premier League and open competition are protected".

Both the FA and the English top-flight said it is seeking help from the government to bring in legislation to protect the football pyramid and "the integrity of the football community".

"The events of the last two weeks have challenged the foundations and resolve of English football," the Premier League said.

"These measures are designed to stop the threat of breakaway leagues in the future."

The Premier League also said it "recognises the strength of feeling" among fans but urged protests to remain peaceful.

It follows the protest by Manchester United fans on Sunday which resulted in two police officers being injured and caused the club's match against Liverpool to be postponed.

Why would it be bad?! Just asking, as I can't see a reason why it's bad?!

Their current owners would essentially get a financial reward rather than a punishment and the new owners might actually be good and bring success back to Arsenal which would reward the club but punish everyone else and I just can’t be having that.

Because they've been poorly run for so long, if capable owners come in they'll compete again.

A bit ironic, considering all the uproar about the ESL killing off the element of competition, that people would rather Kroenke stay around than some genuine Arsenal fans with the club at heart. All for fear they might be competitive again.
