For all the praise of Brentford, if you think about it, they've conceded from literally the first shot they've faced in the game, huffed and puffed to get level before immediately getting done up like a kipper on the counter attack, then tamely seeing out a single goal defeat. That doesn't sound like dominance, that sounds pretty damn Puel-y if you ask me.

We've still got a host of issues but we've dug some results out in this last 8 days and we've just got to keep going. Momentum is the single thing that will iron out the things we seem to be struggling with and perhaps we'll then look at whether the system is the best for us or if we can further improve.

 

Tielemans is just obscene, it's a privilege to watch him.

We were extremely professional at 2-1 up which we haven’t been this season - that’s another huge plus. Brentford had the better of us first half and they had a 20 minute spell in the second half where they were ok but they weren’t smashing the door down. They weren’t all over us like a rash. I think we had some fortune today for sure but I think we’ve earned that after the terrible luck away at Brighton, and at home to Man City.

Had to work hard for the win, and thought they were better for large spells. But we've got tielemans , savouring every second he's in a Leicester shirt now. And daka looks like he can always score if we can carve out half a chance for him

If it wasn't a woman doing the comms half of you wouldn't bat an eyelid. It's infinitely worse having to listen to the usual genuinely bias shit we have to listen to on Sky and BT rimming United and Liverpool.

I don’t usually get wound up by commentators however I started ranting at my stream during the second half when he started going on about Tielemans not signing his new contract yet again, repeating what he’d said in the first half. Once I’d calmed down I realised my stream had somehow jumped back to 18 minutes.

For those wondering why Daka didn’t take the shot on himself rather than setting Maddison up, in the changing room there’s a rule that goal scorers have to get a round in for each goal they score in the bar after. This has cost him a pretty penny in the last week and if you can lip read you can see him say just before he lays it off “**** it, I ain’t paying london prices”.

What he should be doing is working on why these results arent going their way.

 

That way he might be able to convert these losses into draws and draws into wins rather than continuing to moan about being the better team when losing.
