Johnny Johnson - Dambuster veteran

In a BBC interview in 2014, Johnson told how it took nine practice runs - amid complaints from the rear gunner - before he was confident enough to release the bomb.

"On the 10th run we were down to 30ft," he recalled. "When I said, 'Bomb gone,' 'Thank Christ!' came from the rear turret."

Like his colleagues and so many others who serve us, he was incredibly brave and a hero to us all.

Thank-you from the bottom of my heart.

:(

Very sad.Was a big fan from about 12

As a kid Dave Greenfield and JJ Burnell lived in a nearby village and an older mate knew where JJ lived.

We went to his house and said can we have a photo. He told us to Fook off and come back later. So we did and he was nice as pie.Got a picture of him on his Triumph motorbike.

Victor Lewis Smith - only 65 :(

Enjoyed some of his early Private Eye stuff

I used to like his TV programme but I imagine it's probably dated quite badly. The Gay Daleks used to make me laugh

Uncharacteristically slow year for me in 2021. Only 1 to replace from last year.

1. Olivia Newton John

2. Tom Smith (Rugby)

3. Shannen Doherty

4. June Spencer (The Archers)

5. George Alagiah

Under 40 Bonus - 6ix9ine

It's almost that time of year again and as has been the case the last few years - I'll get next to no chance to get on again before the new year. So as the Hall of Fame VIP of the Deathlist I'll abuse my self appointed lofty position to spunk my load early on my picks for 2023. 2 down again in 2022 so replacements to be made.

1. Jonnie Irwin

2. Mutulu Shakur (Tupac's step-dad)

3. Shannen Doherty

4. June Spencer (The Archers)

5. George Alagiah

Under 40 Bonus - 6ix9ine

And for anyone who is looking for any ideas for 2023, here's a quick list of those who nearly made the cut but mostly left of the list as other people had them last year.

Mike Yarwood

Marianne Faithfull

Richard O'Sullivan

Graham Thorpe

Frank Field MP

Caren Marsh Doll

Eve Marie Saint

Steve McMichael (Ex Bears player)

There's gotta be limit on when this starts. Smuts just puts his guesses in earlier each year. I demand tighter rules on guessing the demise of celebrities.

Its time for your European Super League to disband and allow people to vote for whoever they want with repeats galore.

End the longstanding closed shop :protest:
