I still think he’ll flop in the Premier league - won’t see out the season.

He very experienced particularly managing so many Australian teams.

Plus they said the same thing about Arsene Wenger...that he's only won the J- League and look how that turned out at Arsenal.

Watching the cup final, it was noticeable to me that even Pep is realising that pure football alone won't get the job done these days. They did not particularly outplay Utd. but consistently out muscled them. Silva is their only lightweight these days and Rodri and Haaland in particular were often just too strong for Utd. We should take note of this in our supposed rebuild.

Rodri and Haaland aren't coming to us mate... Sorry to be negative and all that.

i’ve not wanted to say anything, because I didn’t want to push positivity their way. But I actually think someone like ange is exactly what they need.

He’s a straight shooter that will toughen them up. There’s bound to be some players that don’t react well to it… but they are probably the ones keeping the spurs culture so spursy!

They’ve had some really bad fits as managers recently but I’d actually be excited as a spurs fan.

The direction they go with signings will be really interesting to follow.

I'd of had him here for sure, a far sounder bet than Marsch!

They are Spurs fans.  The would be angry if Pep were unveiled next week.

He's a great manager but I just cant see Spurs spending the money to compete.  I think the best they can do is creep into the top 4...they won't win anything.

If Kane leaves then they are top 10

I mean, you've just described Tottenham.

Antony allegedly accused of domestic violence and causing bodily injury to his girlfriend. Apparently 4 different incidents reported.

Back to Celtic is the latest rumour - which their fans don't seem keen on.

If the reaction from the Spurs fans on their fans forum is anything to go by there isn't much faith in Ange Postecoglou maybe due to his lack of top management experience (in their eyes) or the he won't get backed.

For example" He (Levy) has sunk us so low that we are appointing a manager who, I'm convinced, would not be offered a job by a single other Premier League side currently. This is who we are now"!

Suspect Postecoglou will have to start well or the knives will be out quickly.

Spurs fans are so deluded it's almost funny.

For the real hardcore global football fans (I don't put myself in that bracket) Postecoglu was highly thought of before joining Celtic, where over the last 2 years he's done a good job, brought a good ethos and built a good team spirit. I think he'd be considered by a good number of PL teams if they were looking for a manager right now. I've always questioned why Spurs are considered part of the 'big six' when they've done absolutely nothing of merit in the last 15 years bar make a Champions League final.

Spurs worldwide commercial standing puts them in the "top" six , it is vastly greater than ours. It has nothing to do with their lack of playing success.

Nasty piece of work if true - where did you see this out of interest?

I'm just amazed it to Ange what nearly 10 years from when I first heard him speak for the Australian national team to get a top job. We could of got him at the WC break and finished mid table, Spurs could of got him when Conte went, an then maybe Rogers would of gone back to Celtic while the season could still be salvaged, oh well.

Depends if they decide to splash on the cash on his departure. But that'll take time, I actually though toney would have been considered his replacement for when kane left Tottenham. But that won't happen anytime soon.

Is it possible Son may want out also.

Very not good, and a new way of a club being complicit in the domestic abuse and violence (two club doctors attending to her injuries but not making any report of the incidents to the police)

Just shocking but sadly doesn’t surprise me anymore!
