We’re in the shit when it comes to recruitment.

Rodgers ain’t got a clue and he looks like he is in charge.

Countless goalkeepers across better than Sanchez that would cost less than half that.

Depends what we're looking for. Sanchez has by far the most high claims in the league, which would take massive pressure off the backroom staff regarding the set piece situation.

This would be a good move I think. If we had someone who could command our box we could be in the top 6 this season.

We should let Kasper go with our blessings and move forward.

The £50m price is probably high and we won't pay that much. At least we're planning ahead so not left with any surprises if Kasper goes.

If this true, then our Recruitment Team needs to be renamed the ‘Charitable Good Causes Committee’. We are throwing Millions at South Coast Teams in return for dross. When is Walcott joining us?

There is absolutely zero value in buying players from other Prem teams and the sooner David Brent learns this the better. His Prem recruitment record of Perez, Vestegaard, Bertrand (70k wages) says it all. Players of atleast the same quality can be brought on the continent for a fraction of the price and with mucher lower wages.

There is value but absolutely not when the player is a key player at their club with more than a year left on their contract.

This could be a agent rumour for a few reasons..included us being interested in Sanchez

Kasper to decide if he's going to move on this summer?

Iverson/Ward to see if they want to fight for a number 1 spot.

Other transfer targets like Pope becoming available or agents offering to the club?

If fixing our set piece issues means spending our budget, then so be it. The number of points we continue to lose over a season would make this my number 1 priority. Fixing this must be worth at least 10 points.

....wouldn't that be similar to using a tank to squash a bug!!!

It will solve the problem to a degree, but it opens a bigger argument of why can't we solve a football problem that others do not suffer from(at least not to the extent that we do).

We set up to defend corners, taking up the same positions everytime, it does not work but the next time it will, won't it!!

If we are bereft of the knowledge as to how to combat every day situations that we encounter on the field, then we are deficient in other areas and our understanding of how the game can be effectively managed.

We are a poorly coached team, it is evident through what we have witnessed, as the same faults appear game after game from the same players in the same situations.

By all means, just throw money at it!!

Really wish we would just promote Iversen!!

I don’t think he’s ever played in a possession based team like ours, so it’s still unclear how he would adapt.

Even if he isn’t the best on the ball, he’s still young enough to improve. He’s also a big lad who can come for crosses and relieve the pressure on our defence.

Would be really disappointed if we signed a keeper instead of promoting Iversen! He is one of our best talents.

The club will know already if he has everything required to succeed here.

We need a commanding goalkeeper who claims the ball and is capable of playing with the ball... unfortunately everyone wants that, so if the right target is £50m then sometimes you need to just pay the money to get what's required.

Until they've coached it out of him that is.

There’s no way Brighton can ask for £50m…. £20 at most.

Brighton are free to ask whatever they want. We do the same with our best players.

Just the question of whether people actually go and pay up

Brighton will be demanding the same figures for our players that we would. Why do you think they can't?

We wouldn't accept £20 million for Maddison or Fofana etc.
