More VAR shambles. Why does it take them so long. The freeze frame didn't look right either. The ball had already left the Everton blokes foot when they froze the picture.

Checking the potential foul ?

Arsenal and Man U got docked points once for that  type of fight …

Iconic goal from Tarkowski.

Look how much it means and it was only an equaliser. Imagine if it was a winner.

This over the top remark on the BBC made me laugh

"It may be creaking in parts, but on fiery nights like this with Liverpool as the opposition, it literally rocks - parts of it really do - with a glorious support and naked hostility like few other places in world football"

Last night was a perfect example of why UEFA don't want premier league matches on the same night as champions league matches where possible. Last night and today all the chat with mates, the office and social media is all about the Merseyside Derby aftermath.

If that is Ndiaye out for a while for Everton, they are in deep shit. McNeil, Calvert-Lewin and now him is the engine of a lot of their goals.

They are 10 points ahead! They aren’t getting relegated. They may already have enough points when it comes to the end of the season.

It's a ****ing shit hole and a morgue.

I'd go on record calling it the most over rated ground in British football.

"ItS tRaDiTiOnAl" no it's just ****ing decrepit and literally the only time Everton fans make any noise there is when they're playing Liverpool.

If it was in any other city the media wouldn't give a shit. It's basically just Turf Moor with a few more seats and at least the Burnley fans give a shit.

Goodison is more varied than Turf Moor. I don't love it like some do but the lack of uniformity is what makes it so popular. The different tiers of varying heights and rakes are more characterful than similar grounds.

Agree on the other cities and noise parts though.

I like Goodison, enjoyed my visit the other week aside from the result, and it has hosted more top flight matches than any other ground so is a historic ground.

I can understand why they need to move and it probably should have happened years ago.
