Beyond disappointed with him. With that said, I never want to see Ayew and Daka ever again so I’d rather he play each week. I feel less anger towards his shiteness because he’s new.

Reality is, he’s a little bit below standard for this level.

Thomas is a way better footballer than Caranza in the context of English championship football.

What on earth were our scouts thinking when they signed off on this guy? He has absolutely no attributes whatsoever.... I'm convinced most of our scouting is now done on the cheap, using youtube etc.....all part of Rudkins master strategy eh

 

In fact i don't think we actually scouted him, more like we took a punt in the last hour of the window on the say of an agent.

 

Gone are the days of Steve Walsh looking at player's backgrounds, personalities etc before making a recommendation.

 

Him and Daka are down there with Elvis Hammond, Geoff Horsfield and Trevor Benjamin as our worst ever strikers.

Whilst I’ve not been impressed with him either yet, we are creating absolutely nothing and i do get the feeling if hes going to have any success it’s as someone who operates pretty solely in their box. An area we just don’t get anywhere near at the moment.

Wasn't that great in the MLS (watched him a couple of times and he was playing for the best team in the Eastern Conference), even worse in a good team in the Eredivisie.

 

I know he's not exactly getting the service but he's just crap. Agree with what a lot of people are saying - there's no way we actually scouted him in any way, shape or form. We were offered him and took a punt.  I hope we can cancel his loan in January and attempt to sign someone with, you know, some talent.

Could Caranza possibly become the worst player to ever wear the shirt? Elvis Hammond has been mentioned but at least he had a bit of pace. Ghezzal was another but at least he had some skill with the ball at his feet. De Vries could head a ball and had a physical presence.

This chap has none if these attributes, I keep telling myself what do I know he's a professional but how did he get to this point
