I'm also curious about this. The two clubs linked with Challinor were Sheffield Wednesday and Blackburn, but it seems Sheffield Wednesday's new owners may give Pedersen the chance to prove himself and Blackburn are reportedly looking at getting Mowbray back if they can't get Bilic over the line. I'm interested to see how this plays out.

It's an interesting tactical approach, I get the strategy, but I watch this sport to be entertained. 
I watch F1 because it entertains me, I don't watch Tennis because it doesn't. For far too long I've planned my weekends around watching a Football club that doesn't entertain me, not sure I can be bothered wasting my time on it much longer if we bring in RM. Can’t even remember the last time I watched a football match in full, as for Leicester, I gave up in about March as I just couldn’t stand watching the likes of Ayew in a Leicester shirt.

 

If Leicester appoint a possession obsessive manager, then I doubt that will motivate a broken fanbase.

 

Only way this club gets back on track, is if they return to the Pearson/Ranieri style days, or opt for a style that Bournemouth are producing for example.

 

Certain managers out there will instantly motivate this fanbase, the likes of Russell Martin will not.

Mainly we need a group of grafters (including manager).  Doesn't mean they can't have talent, but we need hard workers that have something to prove. 

As much as the likes of Fatawu and Mavi have talent on their day, I don't want that sort of player at all. Give me a Lloyd Dyer over them at the moment.

As always there arent many leaks but I am getting a bit concerned we are in June now and all I have heard is Russell Martin, I actually dont think it will be him, I think he will try and rebuild his reputation abroad where a fan base may have less preconceptions about him.

Whoever comes in will have to play a variant of possession football because most teams will sit back against us. We will have more possession in virtually all the games we play—it's just a matter of finding a manager who can play possession football effectively.

I'm not 100% sure about this. I thought we would dominate possession last season in most games, but we didn't really dominate anyone all season (apart from the odd half against a few teams) and teams soon realised we were weak defensively and were prepared to give it a go. Depending on our squad next season, we may not be in a position to dominate games.

He's probably already arranged to go to Blackburn. Which makes sense compared to signing for us. How sad a reality that is!

No way Challinor is even on our radar unfortunately. I reckon he will be pitching up at Blackburn or Sheff Weds in due course. If it's Wednesday then it makes our job that much harder next season too.

The thing that has been so apparent over the last 5 years is the fan base (I’m talking about the reasonably intelligent part of the fan base not the ****ing idiots “Top is a good guy and I like wanking him, 3 inch dicks are my fave” side) have been mostly right on absolutely everything.

 

Whether it be Cooper, Ayew, Rudkin, Glover, Congerton, Top being a moron etc. the fans have been spot on.
