As someone who has suffered from Alopecia.....it's not great Usually brought on by stress and it set my exama off as well! 4 weeks off work being covered in ointment! Glad to say it's all done now and have a full head of hair(graying).....but i think it's a medical thing that isn't discused enough.

Interesting how the people who I think are good posters and are largely correct are sceptical - then posters who are often wrong are saying the same things they always do.

 

I don’t intrinsically hate this signing, there are some upsides but the fact Russel Martin is our manager and LCFC are making it is almost enough to write it off straight away.

 

A plurality in here rated the Ayew

 signing, lots liked the Lascelles deal, a few were happy with Aribo. It’s just hard to be enthused by a deal from a club with such a poor record with both manager and player recruitment.

Reid, Burns (so far) are recent examples of signing players on 3 year deals as very questionable.

 

Throw in our history of over paying players, all whilst not performance based and fixed deals….scream that this thread will likely be changed in a couple of years to - Will Smallbone only 257 days left 👀

General comments on him is he's good for a goal, tidy passer but lightweight and very slow. It's just rinse and repeat isn't it.

Given we’re a league lower and needed to save wages that looks decent to me. On paper! Still sucks about James mind.

I was always impressed with him when he played for Southampton during the season they got promoted with us from the championship. He was one of their key players and was great in possession.

 

I think Martin is hoping he is the sort of player that will play more risky passes between the lines which we are lacking at the moment from our current central midfielders 

 

Therefore, seems a very good signing at League 1 considering he's still only 26. Hopefully we can keep him fit.

All strikes me again of lacking a clear plan and gambling to ‘guarantee’ the promotion we desperately need. I do agree that he looked decent for Southampton a few years ago but how many times are we going to fall into that trap?

 

And honestly, if the club had any self awareness they would stop signing ex Southampton players as it instantly triggers us all.

 

Shit or bust round 4? We are currently losing 3-1.
