Have to agree a player with no club, not had a good season stats wise since 23/24 two long term injuries only played 333 minutes last season. You would think we were in a strong bargaining position. Only hope is he is on very low wages. Happy to give him a chance but our more mature signings Cullen, burns, Chaplin have not exactly set the place on fire yet.

Yeah, the bench would probably have 1 CM and 1 ACM on it if the other 3 CMs all start. Chaplin must be crocked but struggling to see how we juggle picking 4 attacking subs from Doyle, Cullen, Howell, Reid, Burns, Watson, Bristric. Likewise only 2 defenders from Aluko, McFarlane, Okoli, Coulibaly, Kangasniemi.

 

That's 6 outfield players not making the matchday squads, 7 if you include Chaplin.

 

Martin really has no excuses now. Huge squad, even more available in the academy and a huge proportion of signings are clearly his own doing and many he's worked with before. This is not a W.I.P, or it shouldn't be.
