Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Don't bow down to player power, either way he won't play for us anyway. Stick him in the U23s if he can't be bothered anymore. Hopefully his attitude changes though

Ian Nacho Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 We've just got to let him go, the way he's gone about things definitely isn't the right way to do it making everything public however if you've got someone like that in the club you're just better off without him dragging morale down with other players at the club. It isn't ideal but this saga has been going of for months so hopefully we have a replacement lined up so we can make a move tomorrow. If we don't have a replacement I think we've just about got enough depth upfront with Vardy, Slimani, Okazaki, Musa with Gray also capable of playing upfront and also if we do get Ramirez he can play as the striker too, however that deal looks dead now but I could be wrong.
Ted Maul Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 What a shame, how the f**k has it come to this? One of the few who usually just gets on with it, puts in 100% and seems like a genuinely good/respectful bloke is refusing to play for the club again? We've got real problems in that dressing room, make no mistake.
StriderHiryu Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 I fear this is a sneak preview for the summer. Ulloa isn't even any good! Make the most out of watching Riyad Mahrez over the next 4 months :(... Player power and modern football can do one!

LinekersApples Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 I added a picture and a funny comment here-----> but it didn't work. hence edit. I have nothing else to add to this debate. **** him.

yorkie1999 Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Too much player power. Can't have players going on strike just because they get the hump about not playing. Should be made to pay his wages back and buy out his contract.
elvisfmcfly Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Oh his name is Leanardo let him rot in Leicesters under 23s.yes he's a sulky mard arse if he doesn't get paid that's alright with me.

Hardly. He signed his contract here. Until it runs out we decide what to do with Leo. I'd like to see him forced to train with the kids just to ward off anybody following suit in the summer. I love Leo for what he's done here but he's not bigger than the club. Who the **** does he think he is trying to force a move like this a day before the window shuts with no replacement?
MC Prussian Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 I find it odd that players are allowed to speak freely about their contract situation - isn't it the normal case they let the club do the talking? Surely must mean there's plenty of bridges burnt if they're given that much freedom in front of the camera. I mean, I don't see him do himself much of a favour here. He's made his mind up and will be gone soon.

Agreed the last player I thought would kick up a fuss would be Ulloa, Always gave his all and I will thank him for it, real shame it has come to this. Think its been a problem of Ranieri's time here though, not rotating the squad in an inteligent way. Dont get me wrong last year fair enough we won the league. But this year why not play Ulloa when Slimani is injured and Vardy is out of form. Why did it take so long for us to introduce Chiwell and why is Fuchs still starting Lb when he is out of form yet we still clearly want to play Chilwell so stick him on the wing. Play Chilwell Lb, Gray or Musa on the wing and drop Fuchs. Why didn't Gray start more games before AFCON when Mahrez and Albrighton were woefully out of form. Why didn't we try Hernandez or Benny at Cb when Huth and Morgan have been so poor. If players can't see themselves getting into the team even when those in the starting 11 are playing poorly then transfer requests will be handed in and I was worried in December of Gray and Chilwell doing just that, Thankfully and hopefully Ranieri will start them from now on over others who have underperformed this year. I know I will get shouted at this this and say what you want about Pearson but he always made sure every player felt like they had a part to play and felt valued at the club. I wonder how many on the fringe feel that way at the moment. (Dont kill me just want to hear other peoples opinions)

Arriba Los Zorros Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 There's something rotten at this club, be it the manager, be it the director of football, but somebody is utterly incompetent and needs to **** off. Ranieri and Rudkin would be 2 ideal people to start with

brucey Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Let him go, let him go Won't play for us anymore Let him go, let him gooo Forever or on loan I don't care If he goes elsewhere We've got Islam Slimani anyway
Jaspa Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Dick move Leo - Outside the Clubs stadium, airing dirty laundry? Nahh mate I imagine this is about us not wanting to sell to another club in this League for the figure that was 'promised (to Leo/Leo's Agent)', now they're trying to force a move. I suggest we cut losses and shit him out to a foreign club thats willing to go around £5m.
Fox 4 Life Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 It's annoying me the most that this is the "hot" thread and not a ****ing target

Who the **** does he think he is trying to force a move like this a day before the window shuts with no replacement? someone fairly intent on resuming their career as soon as possible? Im not entirely sure the WE OWN YOU NOW, is a particularly good advertisement for this club but there we are. Clearly we have different opinions how you manage certain people in certain situations.
stripeyfox Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Last season, one of the major reasons for our success (imo) was that we appeared to have a very "happy ship". No fall outs, no big egos, players happy with their role as subs or being subbed etc. Everything seemed very content. So what has happened to compel a player who appears to have been a "model pro" up until now to effectively down tools?
