Wednesday is the priority. Would have liked to see more rested but that team selection's okay. Hope to see Vardy and Albrighton subbed shortly after half time. Tough game for the lads playing today, best of luck to them.

Vardy doesn't do injuries he's not Sturridge :P

Yeah, great.  Nice one.  Not tempting fate at all.

Apart from scoring, Pennington had a mare against Liverpool last weekend; be good to see Slim and/or Vardy get at him early doors and rough him up a bit.

Not a bad side at all that. Should be a close game.

Really. We're a multi million pound club with an envious trophy cabinet. Look at the ****ing size of Benny's head. IT'S AS BIG AS AMARTEY'S ENTIRE NECK AND HEAD. Then compare it to Abrighton's head: he looks like a frightened matchstick. Huth's neck is actually fatter than Albrighton's head. I came here to offer unsolicited opinions about a football match not to risk waking up tonight sweating after a nightmare about 40 foot Benny attacking my family. The whole thing remind me of the final scene in Beetlejuice.

So either go all-out and knacker the team or give the game up before a ball is kicked? He's looking for balance. I'd have rested Vardy and Drinkwater though mind you

No, if you rest them you rest your best / most important players. Rather than "knackering" them out as you put it.

Think it's a good selection considering mid week and other games coming up. Ndidi needs the break. Keep Mahrez fresher. Shinji needs a break. Giving time to the full backs. Always a risk in change but necessary.

It'll be interesting to see how well Benny and Huth deal with Lukaku! Hopefully a good performance today will breed confidence for the game against Athletico.

I'm disappointed with that line up, given the heat as well we've got to play in today and on Wednesday, it doesn't give enough recovery for an away match in Madrid.

Always good to see a 4-foot tall keeper on the other side.

Only ndidi, okazaki, mahrez and the fullbacks getting rested.

That's half the outfield players!

1-1 with a Kingy header (my forecasting must improve after my Grand National horse caused one of the restarts by going in the wrong direction and then fell at the first (despite all the bigging up in the papers of what it could do). We just need to settle down quickly, avoid conceding an early goal and build on it bit by bit. And run the right way.
