GaelicFox Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 He must be really playing up for the club to take 31m for him
Bugg Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 Just now, Wymeswold fox said: Hopefully a decent signing as a replacement is in place.. Maybe but it'll probably be July 2035 by the time its completed.

Ricey Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 I'm sceptical about these reports and even more sceptical about the prices stated. The Italian media all along have stated that our asking price is £35M, which is of course nonsense.
chapero82 Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 The last thing Riyad liked Riyadh Mahrez teammates, they must clearly get bored of being humiliated every practice ???? @news_faf @Nabil_djellit
MikeyT Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 Stringer: Talk (Italian reporter linking Iheanacho coming in meaning Mahrez going out) of Mahrez having a medical at Roma on Weds. I'm not convinced.
KFS Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 Thing is Riyad, there are people in life that we're all better than, whilst we're not better than others. Doesn't mean you have to be public about it. Whilst he's been good enough to continue training and playing, there have been a few things like the post above that make him look like an arrogant fvck.
GaelicFox Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 This is bullshite this story !!! Mercury will be confirming this later on tonight total rubbish
Fox 4 Life Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 In a way I would rather it was Roma and now, means he is out of the prem and also gives us a month to sort a replacement. If it drags on he will go to Arsenal on deadline day for £25m and we will be a) a laughing stock and b) screwed!
lcfc sheff Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 he wont be going this window, unless he refuses to play for us theres no reason to sell him under 40m

Fox 4 Life Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 Matic going to United for 40m and we are struggling to get a bite at the same price for Mahrez.... I hate football!

ScouseFox Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 sick of these fu cking disrespectful bids man. a player coming into his prime, one of the best players in the world 12 months ago, the best player we've ever had and clubs and fans alike think we should just be happy to get a few quid for him and move on. 50 mill is quite frankly still a bit rude judging by the going rate atm, let alone half of that after we've already said we won't budge for any less.
surrifox Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 these Roma rumours wont go away - this will be a massive loss of face for them if he doesn't go now given they have been leaking stuff all over the press since the window opened (and before) . I would prefer him to go abroad than join the cocks or the arse but after their presumptuous behaviour am starting to develop a loathing of a club I know next to nothing about
st albans fox Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 Find it rather strange that some of our supporters on twitter seem to think that photos of a smiling riyad on Monday at belvoir drive are proof that he can't be having a medical in Rome on Wednesday !

Bevilacqua Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 I told you Corriere dello Sport isn't a reliable source...

It's not proof, but it would be very, very odd for the club to actively use Mahrez in promotional material today if they knew there was a strong likelihood of him joining Roma this week. My guess is that they've deliberately promoted the Mahrez pics today to let everybody know the Roma rumours are baseless.
ian_marshall Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 These Roma rumours aren't serious. Yes they may be coming from reliable sources in Italy but I'd take that with a pinch of salt. European clubs are renowned for roping in favours from the media in attempts to unsettle player's in-order to try and force the selling clubs hand. Sadly for Roma times have moved on and with the financial clout that PL clubs have these days, not even smaller clubs in England's top tier can be bullied into letting one of their prized assets go on the cheap. To me this looks like Roma have upped the ante and are reverting to dirty tactics as a last ditch attempt to prise Mahrez away as they know that they can't and won't pay the asking price, yet at the same time don't want their fans thinking that the standing of their club in world football has fallen so far down the pecking order that they're now unable to acquire the services of a player from a club like 'little old Leicester'. Time will tell but realistically I can only see a move to Arsenal being a possibility as his salary is already above Spurs and Levy's pay threshold, and even then I think Arsenal will drop their interest in him immediately if they secure the services of their preferred options assuming they do actually sell one of Sanchez or Ozil.
