Pep's not really into out and out strikers. He's said he'd buy 50 midfielders given the chance. He likes to work technically gifted midfielders into space and then the last pass goes in the goal.

We're also talking about a manager who spent  £50m on Stones and an equally laughable amount on Bravo!

I'm just wondering if this guy is so good why on earth are Man City even contemplating selling him ? I mean it can't be for the money £20 million is peanuts to them and they sure as hell didn't even at any stage look like they were going to win the league.

So why sell such a promising young player ? call me a pessimist but there's  More to this than meets the eye.

Even Man City are subject to financial fair play rules which means they can still only spend the revenue they earn...

Let's get this to 200 pages, show him he's wanted! lol

Agree. We need to involve Anderson Perry. That will add 50 pages, then some references to Nicky Maynard, Morrisons, Medicals and 'can someone please send me a stream' and we should make 200.. Let's get it done.

He's not a target man and he isn't a striker that's runs of the channels. The majority of the goals he scores are in the box, he finds good pockets and is lethal in the box.

Cannot see him leaving Manchester City without a buyback clause.

He's scored 12 and assisted 5 in 1278 minutes of Premier League football.

He's scored 2 and assisted 0 in 174 minutes of Champions League football.

He's scored 5 and assisted 1 in 290 minutes of FA Cup football.

He's scored 2 and assisted 2 in 279 minutes of League Cup football

Overall that's 21 goals and made 8 assists in 2011 minutes of Competitive football for Man City.

That's 22.3 90 minutes.

thats what will be in any deal for him i think, any team that sign him with get at least £5mil profit id a guessed; though i suspect the buy back clause would have a certain time frame too

Man City are doing this buy back clause stuff with a few of the young players they are selling atm

Even if man city are given a buy back clause, how good would this kid have to get for them to want him back?

They are stacked up front with some genuinely scary talent. Maybe they'd buy him back to sell him for more perhaps? Seems an odd one.

I'll weep quietly in a corner if former premier league champions and UCL quarter finalists miss out of a signing because of West Ham.

You wont have to - West ham are all talk -it's what their porn peddling owners do to keep the fans thinking they give a crap about the club.

If they can make a profit buying him back and selling him on, I'm sure they would.

I think something needs to be done about buyback clauses. They allow the big clubs to dominate further. Already we see the big clubs stockpiling the best young talent. Now we're potentially seeing them control the future transfer activity of younger talent and indeed the smaller clubs who buy them.
