sylofox Posted 31 May 2017 Posted 31 May 2017 All the moaning about buy back clauses. Yet most think it's great we have our hands on a Belgium club to raid and get the heads up on talented kids.
NotTheMarketLeader Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 I'd be surprised if it happened, whether or not the buy back bollox is involved. That said, it would not be the first time I've been surprised.
st albans fox Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Whilst these markets are notoriously unreliable, someone must have put a tenner on to bring that in so far
mozartfox Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Vichai and Top lumped a tenner each on and then gave Rudders the green light.
MPH Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Cant see it happening but i would be delighted if we got him.
Ric Flair Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Funny how the Maguire news started this week from his odds going in to odds on, then the papers broke the stories. Stranger things have happened if this is how we now find out transfers.

Guest CityFan 06 Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 I think he will go West Ham but I'd really welcome him here.
Max Power Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Would love this one. Think this lad is super talented and will explode with regular football.
foxfanazer Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 This would be an awesome signing! Should be doing all we can to get him
dmayne7 Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Get what people have said about him not necessarily being the right fit in terms of the type of player but if you get the opportunity to sign a player of his quality, with the potential he has, at the price mooted, you'd be foolish to not take it. The way prices are going he could easily be £100m+ player in 5 years

Devonfox1884 Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Vardy, Iheanacho and Slimani wouldn't be bad striking options at all!
UPinCarolina Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Knowing nothing else, would he be able to play a CAM/no.10 role?

RODNEY FERNIO Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Love this kid ... very talented and a natural goal scorer ... wonder if Musa and N'Didi his fellow Nigerians have any sway ?

From watching videos (not the greatest source), I could see him arriving late/ poaching from Vardy's cut backs. However, you're not going to see him picking up the ball deep and playing a killer pass (which is what I believe we need), or running his bollocks into the ground ala Shinji. Shinji, Iheanacho, Vardy and Slimani gives us every possible striker type out there, but keeping them all happy is another matter. Especially if we're in the market for an AM.

On SkyBet it's 6/4, we're second favourites behind West Ham (6/5). Unless of course you were correct but the odds have drifted again, or you were looking at another bookmakers with those odds. Think he'd be good here, Maguire, Iheanacho, Sigurdsson, i'd be ecstatic, we'd still need more imo, another CB, RB, and squad players but what a start/transfer window if we landed those 2! Can't see Sigurdsson though, or if i'm honest Iheanacho.
