Is he ahead of Drinky, N'didi, James, Iborra? 5th choice perhaps with King and Amartey as DCM's too. Where will he get his opportunities from when we only ever play 2 CM's. We need to have the personnel to have the option to match up with opposition playing three at the back and three in the middle. last season was so poor having mendy injured and drinkwater having to play through an injury. you need adequate cover if you have designs on making it back into Europe. Shakey and the coaches see them every day and will know from training who can cut it at this level. They will know who to keep and who to sell. The last few years have given me total faith in how our club is run. Yes there will be ups and downs along the way but we should all be proud of what this club has evolved into. It seems like Shakspeare is giving everyone a chance to show what they have before making a judgement on them. But realistically with Drinky, James, Ndidi, Iborra, Mendy and King it seems like we are carrying one too many centre mids for the games we have and Mendy is the most likely casualty. He was highly rated by the coaches before the injury last year and he's had a nightmare year rwith the number of surgeries he's had to correct the ankle, which was no fault of his own. The amount of flak he became from his nasty injury to yesterday, whist having been effectively less than 100 minutes on the pitch, is really something to remember. People litterally killed him off.
