Their preference is Drinkwater over Barkley. Will definitely be awkward if no move goes through and we have a very unhappy player at the squad! We should demand another 5m if we win our group in the Checkertrade Trophy. If they want him, we should should have Aramovic's pants down. Sick and tired of all this crap from the so called bigger Teams.
Gerard Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 I hope he leaves. Coutinho wasn't happy when Liverpool rejected £130m for him. Van Dijk wasn't happy when Southampton rejected £65m for him. Drinkwater kicks off and hands in a transfer request because Chelsea originally offered £15m for him. The club have said he can go but we want to be paid for it. £40m isn't excessive when a club like Chelsea want you and DD wants the club to let him go for buttons.
foxy boxing Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 i'm now just sick and tired of hearing players now want to leave, Drinkwater, Mahrez, Gray, if you want to leave then fine just shut up going on about it. we've given you players a great platform to perform and if you think you can do better somewhere else then just **** off. Leicester City as a football club will survive and move on
st albans fox Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Matt law tweets new bid is 27m + add ons to be just over 30m

Will1981 Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 £50m for Drinkwater and £30m for Mahrez reduce the sell on fee we have to pay Le_Havre.

lgfualol Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Sell and buy Silva. Drinkwater moping around because he didn't get his move will be bad for moral.
Gerard Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 They're more desperate than us, the day is still young. £35m and £5m add ons please.
SpacedX Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Has anyone pointed out to him the fact that Leicester love him more than he will know?
Will1981 Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Hold firm for the £40m Chelsea will have to pay it as they are desperate for home grown players and have already missed out on the Ox.

We've done this before where we miss out on a target but then don't go for an alternative and then just muddle on. That was the best thing about Steve Walsh... always felt as if we had two or three alternatives in case we missed out on our main guy

Steve Earle Posted 31 August 2017 Posted 31 August 2017 Take £40m + add ons IF and only IF we can get a Silva or similar level replacement today for <£30m. Put the difference towards buying that British CB. Whoever it is they'll be £10m overpriced...
