think we need 3/4 new players that should be regular starters, so with that in mind mid table come xmas would be good, feel if we start slowly then atmosphere could change quickly, I would have preferred a more charismatic manager to have come in, suppose if we start badly we could always ring big sam!!!

Pellegrini confirmed this morning too. Actually don't think he'll do too badly there, he's a better manager than Moyes, at least.

Hope he's given freedom over player decisions and recruitment by the owners, who seem to like to control things there too much.

Read Pellegrini at his first news conference, he states he wants West Ham to play attacking football that will excite the fans. Considering his Man city side scored 151 goals in all competition s in one season, no wonder hammers fans have something to cheerful about.

Hope Puel heard his interview!

Pellegrini is an attack minded, excellent manager. Makes it more difficult to dislike West Ham now! Best hope is that he starts badly due to a lack of investment, get fired and takes them to the cleaners.

If the big clubs come calling this summer we'll turn their bids down.

Only if he makes a fuss will we have to let him go. Which he won't because he's a nice sensible lad. And he knows it's best for him to play every week for us for at least a season rather than risk moving too early.

We won the league, had guaranteed champions league football and still lost one of the best players in the world to a team that couldn't even offer any sort of European football that season. Fair play to him if he stays and his comments are refreshing, but like Dan says the pull these big clubs have is unreal.

Will be interesting to see how Arsenal will cope with a new manager after a couple of decades under one and different ideas etc.

Genuinely think next season will be a sink-or-swim for them, in determine their outlook for the next few seasons thereafter the upcoming one.

Good. We need more managers to push attacking football & fewer of the Sam Allardice type. Hopefully LCFC can follow suit & play the beautiful game.

That Brazilian player from shaktar "Fred" looks awfully average, apparently going to man utd for 43m :dunno:

They don’t tend to do well with South Americans there for some reason
