So many "puel out" calls from fans, so who replaces him?

He was brought in firstly to keep us in the Premier league, secondly to change the philosophy/playing style of the team & thirdly to introduce/develop the talented youngsters we had. He’s done everything he was asked & laid the foundations for the club to start a new ear which he deserves a lot of credit for,

however.....

He has ZERO man management which has had a major effect on the team spirit, he clearly can’t motivate the team hence the good/poor 45minutes, he’s erratic with his team selections which always leads to inconsistency but crucially from the owners point of view he has ZERO rapport with the fans!

He’s not a long term appointment & he’ll be gone the moment Rodgers/Benítez become available

I wish we could just stick to a plan, it's possibly two or maybe three seasons ruined by management or decisions above. Shakey was probably right for the first few weeks but he was never an actual manager and it baffled me we started the next season with him & Appleton, So we get Puel in two months into the season, the vision is attractive and plausible, the results and performances arrive and eventually improve but then we finish the season miserably, clapped off by a half empty stadium, loud murmurings Puel would off to the guillotine, practically giving up and players dropping out injured en masse after Europa Burnley got too far away and the disgrace of Crystal Palace, same sects fans turning toxic with other support waning; so again we give another man apparently under a cloud the summer, invest in his plans, train his style, drop players he doesnt like, buy ones he does . . . two months later and people are talking like the seasons going to be turned on it's head again, midtable, irratic form, Vardy's missus liking dodgy tweets.

Just make a good plan and stick to it, all the other parts of the Club are pointing in the right direction, youth coming through, stadium getting done up, state of the art training complex with golf course approved. Why in the F are dropping ourselves in a mess every season on the pitch and with management?

Bob off with Brenny Rodgers too. We saw what Benitez serves up just the other week.

Loving your speculation, especially the bit essentially suggesting that how the fans feel takes priority.

A 41% win percentage is pretty good tbf - that's straight away 45-48 points (depending which way you round) in a 38 game season. Chuck in 10 or so draws and you're talking European football usually.

But we have not shown that sort of win percentage since Xmas. His good start camouflages statistics like this.

Whatever his win percentage, if it does not improve in the next 7 days he has a big problem.

leonardo jardim the monaco coach is available. Developed wonderful youth players and got Monaco semi finals champions league as well as league title. This year he started poorly admittedly, but the same thing happened with Klopp and he has not done to bad with Liverpool.

If we could attract Jardim it’s a no brainer, but he may well fancy a bigger and better job.

It would be a massive coup if he came here but I’m certain he’ll have far more attractive options than us. Weren’t they talking about him going to Real Madrid at one point?

Interesting that we are reported at looking at Jardim - Winning the title with Monaco for the first time in 17 years - since Claude won it! Small world!

I really want Puel to succeed but reading his wiki page he really has had a strange career. Player and manager for 24 years at Monaco, leads them to a title win and relieved of his duties straight after. He seems to progress every team he manages and yet gets sacked. Is it his lack of charisma? does he fall out with people?

Jardim has an even stranger sacking on his CV - Olympiacos, where he'd taken over in the summer, was ten points clear in the league and was sacked in January!!

Leonardo Jardim would be well trained in the Premier League and may soon receive concrete signs of interest.

As  the 10 Sport revealed Leonardo Jardim would be well trained in the Premier League. Logically, the information had to pass among the English clubs and the former coach of AS Monaco starts to arouse interests. As revealed in these columns, Leicester City has ticked the name of Jardim among his top of the list in case of thanks of Claude Puel in the coming weeks, knowing that the position of the coach is weakened today.

If Puel is to be sacked, then please appoint someone that is going to change the entire playing/coaching and recruitment set-up.   This appointing a new partial first team regime, but leaving everything else 'as is' is not helping the progression.   Just keep the Physio Team, the Birch and Filbert.

Cannot help feeling Puel is being undermined by fractions within the Club...................

He wasn't fired by Monaco, he went to the end of his contract
He wasn't fired by Lille, he was hired by Lyon.
He wasn't fired by Nice, he decide to leave after a 4 year cycle.

He was fired by Lyon after finishing 3rd, 2nd and 3rd and reaching the Champions League semi-finals.
He was fired by Southampton after finishing 8th and reaching a cup final.

I bet most of the supporters of those to clubs would really like these kind of results these days.

He has a big problem from you and those of your ilk. Who else? Do you make the decisions. If he wins today does that change everything and make you happy?

The latest grass is greener prospect.

But oh so similar to the "foreigner" that we have now.

Thank you yks. Sadly it'll change nothing in the minds of the many.
