Without paying £75m we're not going to get a better keeper than him imo. Probably the best shot stopper in the league and his long distribution is generally pinpoint. He's a little slack with his short distribution but it's not his natural game to play out from the back and he's generally done okay with it.

His shot stopping is comparable to the best in the world.

Luckily his kicking ability is comparable with a 7 year old which means he won't be poached.

The advantage of kasper is that hes good but not good enough to be poached by chelsea

Kepa may be the world’s most expensive backup keeper come September.  We rag ManU for paying as much for Maguire, but at least he’s a starter.

This plus-minus stat* is a measure of shot stopping.  Kepa’s season has been horrific.  Kasper comes out well -- right there with Henderson!

His leadership and fierce loyalty to the club and the owners should not be underappreciated. Our club would be soul-less without the likes of Kasper and Vardy. He has already stated that he does not ever want to leave. And, he has been improving and he is now a top top class keeper.

That's cause he tries that stupid throw the ball up and kick to the side technique, really annoys me when he does that as often he can throw it as its such a short distance! But agree with most here. One of the best shot stoppers in the game I reckon.

Oh yeah that does irritate me. He loves slicing it when he does that which csn be difficult to control and we must lose possession so many times as a result.

Absolutely amazing shot stopper but everything else has always been average.

Don't think we can get better unless we spend 30m + though, which certainly won't be happening this summer.

Few uncharacteristic mistakes recently. Today was more understandable given the implosion he was watching. Bournemouth...well, the less said the better.

Still a hero and top keeper.

The goal meant absolutely nothing so people need to get a grip.

Also he was under pressure to try and pick a meaningful pass rather than hoof it as we probably only had 2 more attacks left in the game so needed to score both and not waste a single pass.

It was an error brought on by the desperate nature of the situation, nothing else.

The error was made when the game was over anyway. He's one of the best shot stoppers in the world and we'd have to spend £75m to get anyone better. If we want to play out from the back we have to concede that we will make errors like that from time to time.

To anyone trying to slate him, with all due respect, just do one. Seriously. He saved us more than once this season and his mistake has absolutely no bearing on the outcome. The game was done and dusted, a draw wouldn't have helped us and we never were going to score anyway.

There is no hiding place for errors when you are a GK, today just summed up our season post lockdown.

Kasper is still ace BTW.

Absolute catastrophic error from him today but to bin him off? Not a chance.

Saved well from Rashford and saves us more points than loses them.

Any talk of him being binned off is stupid.

A goalkeepers mistakes are always highlighted more due to the nature of their position. However, as you rightly say, he does more good than bad.
