Next game, Tuesday: against Manchester City (EFL Cup, quarter-final)

Recommended Posts

If we try and sit back and keep it tight we'll get blown away, have to chase the game and attack anyway. Attack from the first whistle and be aggressive, the only side to consistently trouble Man City have been Liverpool who have done exactly that.

This competition is fourth priority for Man City. As things stand it should be top priority for us, so, unlike them, we field our best possible side ( with Ward in goal ) and see what happens. If Puel makes the same mistake as last year and puts out a weakened side, the last remnants of sympathy for him will disappear.

What constitutes a weakened team? Plenty of fans want Ndidi and Mendy dropped so technically Iborra and Silva would be a weakened team. Would you accept that?

If he deliberately 'rests' players for the following Premier League game - as he has done in previous rounds.

If i'm not mistaken we played our best possible side today and lost to a poor Palace side. So I don't think it really matters.

I hope Ndidi finally gets dropped. Give Silva and Iborra a chance together.

Ward

Maguire

Soyuncu

Evans

Ricardo

Iborra

Maddison

Silva

Chilwell (if fit)

Iheanacho

Vardy
