How are the 'imminent' bids for Che Adams and Danny Drinkwater coming along?

If Silva goes and does well it means we can get rid of him easier for starters. Don't just think of it from the Tielmans angle.

I mean if that’s the case then we could just loan them Silva, it’s the tielemans thing that I’m saying is pointless. If we want him fair enough but just put the 20 million up and buy him.

But we need more players, nobody wants King or James being relied upon do they?

We don't have the money thanks to ffp to pay for him this season so its a loan with the chance to buy him first

Is there any indication that, all other considerations apart, Monaco would actually sell him for 20 million at this point?

He may not actually be for sale though in this window, especially at that price. Don't believe all rumours. Suits Monaco not to cut ties completely and do a cut price deal now. He is out of form but 6 decent months with us in the Prem and his value could go past what they paid for him.

I don't see it as pointless as he could come straight in and help us finish higher up the league and we have a space for him in the squad/starting 11.

I imagine there is also a small chance that we have agreed some kind of permanent swap in the summer if both clubs are happy etc but that is being kept quiet.

If not, we don't really lose much. Mendi and N'didi are struggling and we need a different type of CM in there for the next 15 games. We swap a player Puel won't use, for one he will (hopefully).

Can the moaners about this loan deal honestly say they'd rather watch Ndidi and Mendy for the next 14 games, because that's what this comes down to ultimately doesnt it? For the short term sanity, this is surely a good thing.

lol when you put it like that.

I don't see any harm in the deal but I don't see much gain beyond this either.

Even if he's as bad as Silva - we get to loan Silva out without ruining our midfield depth. If Silva does well (in a league much more adapted to his style of play), his stock rises. We can sell him for more.

Hows it going?

He was in the treatment room waiting for the physio and Apparently  he helped himself to Matty James’ grapes without being asked and it all kicked off .

My point is after a few good performances over Xmas it only took 1 bad performance to then have people wanting Puel out rather than just accepting defeat and moving on.

I agree with you, that he should be given a run of games and see how Tielemans settles etc. There will be a good chunk of the Leicester fan base who even if we went say 5 games unbeaten with good performances that after 1 bad performance it will be the extreme of 'Puel Out' all over again rather than just accepting defeat and moving on as a unit.

Puel cant win, its not just a small amount of fans either. They already have it embedded in their minds he needs to go. In fact we could go the rest of the season unbeaten and I bet there would still be fans who want him gone.

Likewise if we loose the the rest of our games you'd probably still want him in. Why bash people who have more than a reasonable argument to not want him as manager?

Matty James now out for a further 9 months after attempting to chase him

He has to be better than Silva...

... Hasn't he?

No idea. Adams bid was submitted and contact was made with DD reps that's all I know and why I have not posted anything else!
