Spudulike Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 Great seeing Top in the signing photo. Perhaps it's given him a bit of a lift as well as us.
foxfanazer Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 Bad first quote 'I'll give my life to make the supporters proud of the football club' Gonna be some cringe moments ahead I think Still I don't care so long as he does the business
That_Dude Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 Top striked hard and fast though. If there were any doubts that the tragic events last year would somehow distract him, they're certainly gone.
Suzie the Fox Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 When i clicked on the tweet to copy it to here one of my options were 'translate to english' ... I know he is Irish but surely thats going a bit far? Anyway Welcome to LCFC, may you ride with us be joyful and plentiful. Win us some home games, don't be dull in interviews and play attractive attacking football and you will go far.
StriderHiryu Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 Welcome Brendan! Looking forward to general positivity at the game and on these forums for the rest of the season. The deal had clearly been done a while ago as the ITKs reported. The fans and club need some new optimism so it’s a great move.
MC Prussian Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 Welcome Brendan! More than slightly excited with this announcement, should fit like a glove. Shove them youngsters a bit of a rocket up their asses , it's motivation central now, lads!
smr Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 absolutely fantastic ! Gutted I'm missing my first home game of the season tonight with illness. The atmosphere will be lifted and there will be a great buzz about the place. Welcome to Leicester City Brendan, best club in the world!
Mendi Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 Good luck to him he was not my choice. He can bring his good work from Celtic here. What i am happy about is Top in the photo he made his dad proud tonight. His dad would have been in that photo it was a tragic accident i think of him all the times.
fazzyfox Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 Great work Top, thank you and welcome to Brendan. Please feel free to register here and take tips for team selection and transfers etc. Of course you'll be granted a short honeymoon period by us all as we understand the difficulties in adjusting to a new role..........did you enjoy it? Good, now why isn't Choudhury on the bench instead of Mendy, show some authority man, sort it out!

Leicesterpool Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 I welcome him but not for me, outside of football I've heard he's not particular nice character. However were paying him to manage a football team not as a landlord. Needs to get off to a good solid start to me. He needs sort the discipline out, I do think there's one or two need reminding whose in charge and let them know there roles, identify the next captain, try and convince Maguire and Kasper to stay, bring through the young English talent and try make our football as exciting as possible.
jock2612 Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 Good luck and welcome. Would not have been my pick BUT we get behind the lads and the new gaffer !!
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 Right come on boys let’s show our new manager how we really can play!
Sharpe's Fox Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 Last few days has been like scrapping your old Ford Metro for an A-Class Merc. Welcome The Brodge.
MC Prussian Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 I'd like to imagine the ghost of Vichai hovering over Brendan Rodgers' signature.
HankMarvin Posted 26 February 2019 Posted 26 February 2019 Best out there for a club of this size I will be a
