daverollo Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Front 3 are like statues, not offering any options for those looking to play forward. how many times has Riccardo received the ball in a great position on the right, but not a blue shirt within 25 yards.
sishades Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Am I allowed to say "what a pile of shit" on this forum?
David Guiza Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Thanks to going behind so early on (again) we've allowed Watford to sit so deep when we're on the ball and consequently neither Barnes or Vardy have got into decent positions or even seen the ball. I don't disagree with the back 3, but we really, at the current time, don't look to have the players to bring the ball on to 10 men sat behind the ball. Maguire's been off, but at least he's comfortable in bringing the ball forwards. Chilwell and Ricardo look so isolated if/when the ball does get to them 40 yards from goal also, I'd consider bringing Gray on at some point as at least he's capable of driving the ball forwards.

Blue-fox Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Drag Maguire put Mendy on shore up the midfield. We can still get a result here
H.a.r.r.y Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 its just not enjoyable to watch Leicester this season, especially Kasper, why couldn't he run to the edge of his 6-yard box and catch the ball? i think it's time...
StriderHiryu Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 New manager, new formation, same old problems! Too slow, too static, too sideways and back. Youri Tielemans the only player that dares pass it forward in the team. Rome wasn’t built in a day but any hopes of an instant improvement will have to be put to bed. It’s a big challenge for Rodgers.

AyewJoking Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Its crap. We're going to need a watford mistake because we conceded early and they are nulifying our "attack"
Captain... Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 The early goal will have knocked them, time for a Brodgers team talk get them fired up for second half, we’re gonna win this 3-1
Blanchflower78 Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Desperately need more presence higher up top. Someone proven.

Naivety on your part to not see that Completely agree mate. We need a massive overhaul! We can play whatever tactics, formation, system you like. But the same problems will apply due to the players we have. Need upgrades in a lot of areas

Bozman Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 More steel in midfield,no need for tielemans and maddison both play same role., Chouds on Maddison off, let Tielemans do the passing...

Just face facts lads, this 3-4-2-1 experiment to bring Wes back in has failed miserably so far. I thought we'd seen the back of the Wes Morgan era, just play caglar **** sakes
Grebfromgrebland Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Saying on 5live that deeney goal was offside
TrentFox Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Well, that was disappointing, albeit predictable. About 7-8 players being asked to play a slightly different role in a different system, on the back of a couple of training sessions against a very organised and circumspect team. Interesting to see what / who he changes at half time. We do look as though we are a man missing and overly worried about playing for the new manager than playing Watford.
KingKoala Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 Maddison is clearly good on the ball but football is played off the ball 98% of the time.
fazzyfox Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 A lot of gesturing from our players about team mates coming closer and supporting so obviously a case of getting used to the system but also that bad habit from recent times of not being unselfish and giving options by making runs, particular wide players looking inside for support. Watford keeping it very well but a result is do-able.
Mike Oxlong Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 We look really lethargic I’d like to see us really get at them Don’t need to be coached for that

Realist Guy In The Room Posted 3 March 2019 Posted 3 March 2019 That was awful. Shape is all over the place. Watching the back 3 try and knock it around is a little embarrassing especially when Wes gets it. The passing in general is pretty laborious and it’s breathtaking how physically weak we are.
