Maguire to Man Utd / Man City

don't want Ake, we are losing a physical presence in Maguire, Ake is almost half a foot shorter

if Dunk is Brendan's man I trust him

I agree with that also as Evans, as good as he is, is also of average build. Both Morgan and Huth with their physical presence could cope with players like Lukaku and Rondo etc but I think a pairing of Evans and Ake could be a bit lightweight. Benkovic is supposedly very good for a young lad in this area. If it wasn't for the worry over his fitness I'd be fully behind him getting a chance if Rodgers felt it right. Rodgers I'm sure will be on top of this.

I just hope whatever happens it’s sorted in the next week or so.

with the deadline now before the season starts the last thing we want is a last minute sale.

If he stays I’m happy, if he wants to go and we get £80m + for him I’m happy. Either way let’s just get it sorted.

If he does go I’ve got faith in soyuncu to fill in as would be reluctant to throw benkovic straight in

Would hope that we would avoid being buggered senseless by another club, especially once (if) a deal is done, and that we would get a prospect and stick with Soyuncu, Benkovic, Evans and Morgan as backup.

I'm resigned to him leaving.  Utd will eventually come up with an 80m package.  The best I can hope for is that when they do, Man City come back to the table with an identical offer and Harry goes to the blue half of Manchester instead.

So, we’ve not accepted a world record bid that they’ve not made and the player hasn’t tried to force a move but everyone’s resigned to losing him for a fee that now appears to be disappointing because we’ll have to blow it all on a defender who we’ve not made a bid for. Very odd.

United shot themselves in the foot by paying 50mill for Wan Bissaka. They can't pay that for an inexperienced 21yr old and then expect to get a prem experienced and international for the same price

Am I the only one that’s not too bothered either way? If he stays we keep a strong central defender with a great attitude, but if he goes we get plenty of money and already have back ups. What’s not to like?

I was quite disappointed with the Mahrez fee although wasn't there bonuses added if they won the league. Obviously that decision would have been Khun Vichai to take, I wonder how Top will handle it, will he get advice from rudkin.?

I’m hoping that we dish out OGS statement when they come in for Maguire when he says they’re Man Utd and won’t be held to Ransom I’m really hoping Rudkin says “ We’re Leicester City we don’t need to sell so pay up or jog on we will no longer be bent over a desk and buggered By a so called big club shafting

us with a low price for our Top players !”

The way they’ve gone about trying to get Maguire almost makes our signing of Adrien Silva look competent.

Yeah, let's just forget the £75m for Lukaku and the £90m for Pogba, half of which was to his ****ing agent, and the £50m for a right back with one decent season so far, and the £60m for Di Saster Maria, and the £36-60m for Martial, and the £47m for ****ing FRED.

It's the "We won't over pay" attitude they're putting out there.

Part of the reason the prices are so high is the past dealings of the likes of United.

They won't over pay and we won't under sell. Easiest solution is for them to **** off

Benko will be well annoyed if Harry does stay. I remember him mentioning Harry not leaving last summer more than a few times in interviews.
