I love Vardy and he's a legend for what he's done here but he's going out with a whimper unfortunately. He's finished. Just picking up his 150 bags a week or whatever he's on so he can pay his wife's legal fees off.

I absolutely love JV. He has been a warrior but his time is coming to an end. I don't want to watch a further decline. I hope he finishes at the end.of the season. He is a shadow of what he was.

Makes me sad that his careers coming to an end with us in the state we are at the moment. Will probably sneak out of the back door with little fuss like Kasper did. Clubs a shambles

It's like watching your Mrs getting plucked from behind every weekend with another man.

The loves still there but it won't ever work again.

Will obviously always appreciate him but he's a hindrance to the side now as opposed to an asset.

Those back heels he was trying were just stupid. And he just doesn't get into games any more like he used to, even with defensive set ups.

What is it with all the back heals and lay offs that never work, surely he knows he’s not playing for barcalona.

No amount of red bull can salvage our JV anymore. Time to hang up your boots you legend. Don't tarnish that beautiful reputation you have with us.

It's strange because he doesn't seem to have lost all his pace at all. He's still fairly quick. He gets no service at all too.

Maybe I'm just defending him because he's out greatest.

Let’s face it. Our beloved Jamie Vardy is finished.

Even the taunting from opposition fans about his wife no longer stirs him. He butchers attacks constantly with bad touches and poor decision-making. He is no longer a threat with his speed and his cunning.

And most of all he has stopped scoring goals.

He has actually appeared in all 24 Premier League games this season (yes, many as a sub) but has scored just one goal - and that when we were 3-0 up at Wolves.

It’s been a sad and speedy decline. A bit like the team under Rodgers in general. Which I guess is no coincidence.

He's like that adorable dog you've loved all it's life but sadly that time has come. Can't see him scoring again, such a shame but still the GOAT.

Agree with all of this, its so sad to see but the thing that strikes me the most is that the desire seems to have gone too. He has captained the side several times and Ive never seen him rally the troops. He should lead by example but he barely moves, no effort anymore which for me is the thing that speaks loudest. He clearly doesnt buy in to the boring BR tactics

Not only is he not scoring, he seems to have lost his fight and Jamie Vardy nature.  Not winding people up or showing any personality. Its sad to see 😔

Nacho was on the pitch for 4 minutes and found thr perfectt position to score then several other good passages of play.JV seems to have lost that ability

What I find sad is that he should be our city’s Maradona. Now he’s subject to all sorts of shit off our own fans. Some deserved but if there’s one player who needs slack

Still think there's a case for the clown show his wife started seriously affecting his mental health.

Imagine all that scrutiny, the tense pressure at home and then finally having to find millions of pounds for a payout.

What I'm seeing is a depressed man going through the motions but he's at the point in his career where I personally think its too late to turn it around.

The club is a mess and has no idea when to let players go from U23's that are held on for way too long, to poor signings that we repeatedly refuse offers for, to the older successful players where we are simply too generous in contracts.

Suprised It's taken so many people so long to realise how sh1t he is now.

Bit OTT, hes our greatest ever player. He's finished, but shouldn't get any shitty treatment from the fans IMO.
