Never even heard of the Man City player from the 92/93 season. I can put that down to only being 1/2 at the time and not hearing his name banded about since. I spent the first five minutes typing in Henry, Van Nistelrooy, Yorke etc and wondering why they didn’t appear on the list. Then I twigged it’s only English players. UniFox21 Posted 12 November 2019 Share Posted 12 November 2019 Peak international break stuff; order these mangers. For me: Fergie, Pep, Jose, Klopp. Klopp can't compete with any of them until he wins the prem.

Sand cats Posted 12 November 2019 Share Posted 12 November 2019 (edited) Next fixture is interesting, one of Chelsea or Man City or both will drop points, and Liverpool play Crystal Palace away. Edited 12 November 2019 by Sand cats

It's not his fault there are several key players out of contract and thus look unmotivated. Poch deserves a chance to rectify this situation and rebuild the squad. Poch is a brilliant coach and I doubt Spurs will get anyone better. Edited 13 November 2019 by Koke

Popular Post StriderHiryu Posted 13 November 2019 Popular Post Share Posted 13 November 2019 Saw this on Reddit, and came from a Chelsea site originally. It's trying to judge how difficult each team's fixtures have been and will be in the future based on their current league position and points accumulated. Very interesting reading, because it shows in terms of relative fixtures left for us this season, we have "easier" fixtures for the rest of the season than those we have played so far. The only downer is that Liverpool on paper have an even easier fixture list! Maybe some good news is that Chelsea have a tougher time coming up, and the difference between 3rd and 4th is quite a big one as 3rd place gets an automatic place in the Champions League whereas 4th place has to go into a qualifying round. Also interesting to see just how well Sheffield United have done, 5th place despite having a very hard list of fixtures so far, and ominous for Everton who on paper had the easiest fixture list but now have a nightmare run of fixtures left to go. Newcastle also look to have done surprisingly well despite us clattering them 5-0. 4

Newcastle also look to have done surprisingly well despite us clattering them 5-0. It's a flawed metric, though. It doesn't make sense for Arsenal to simultaneously have the 6th easiest fixtures so far and the 4th easiest fixtures remaining. Everyone plays exactly the same teams (bar themselves) so it should more or less even out. Tough fixtures to date => Easier fixtures upcoming. I've ran the fixtures myself (using the same current-position logic) and supposedly ours has been the 2nd - not 11th - hardest fixture list so far (behind Southampton, ahead of Everton in 3rd and Arsenal in 4th). For remaining fixtures it's by and large the opposite - we've got the easiest fixtures remaining (20th), Liverpool just behind in 19th and Arsenal in 17th. If I wasn't at work I'd post the full tables I've generated - might have to recreate them back at home later. Presumably 'remaining' doesnt include 'next 5' so I'll accept some difference there, but that first column just doesn't make sense whatever way you look at it. We've played 8 of the current top 10 already (one of the 2 is ourselves!) and yet apparently there are 10 sides who've had a tougher time than us... Edit: The only thing I can think of is that if 'remaining fixtures' doesnt include the next 5 games, then its going to be incredibly tight as 19/22 remaining games will be against the same sides as everyone else (so, allowing for the difference from your own sides standing, everyone will have the same difficulty more-or-less). Arsenal's last 3 fixtures from this half of the season are Everton, West Ham and Man City, so slightly skewed towards the easier side which is probably enough to give them a nudge to the 'easy' side of a very tight range. The only difference is a little more prize money the higher we finish. CL group stages are guaranteed for the Top 4.
