I'd struggle next to Vesty as well. That wouldn't make me a good centre back though. 

 

He's looked poor whoever he's played with for ages now. 

 

The best defenders look composed and relaxed. He's an erratic bomb scare. Bin.

His shouting at Berwijn, going down like a sack of spuds and rolling around at a little bit of a push followed by being completely mugged off by Bergwijn is pretty hilarious for anyone that isn’t a Leicester fan.

He's been immense for long spells before - so give him the benefit of the doubt. You'd hope we will already be bombing out Vestergard, Bertrand, Hamza and Evans doesn't look like he's got long left. So we will need him.

 

Our backline due to injuries, himself included, has been all over the place which hasn't helped him. Yes, he has been shit, but he's not going anywhere so you might as well get behind him and hope that once we finally get a settled back line he gets back to his best if he manages to be first choice.

 

Our entire defence has been wank, I think it's unfair to single out players in that case. Except for Vestergard. He can **** off.

It's been unsettling watching Soyuncu for a while now. I think it's becoming clearer his base level isn't as high as we were hoping.

 

When on top of his game and mentally sharp his defending high up the pitch is a huge attribute, and he is relatively good on the ball to boot.

 

When he is just a bit off, as he has been for some time now, the decisiveness turns to rashness and he loses his composure at the slightest hint of adversity.

 

I know he has had to play in lots of systems, with lots of partners, but truth be told, aside from the great season alongside Evans after Rodgers arrived, it has probably been more bad than good

This, this, this. Why the hell were we playing a 5 at the back tonight? Rodgers actually chose to find enough players to fill 5 defensive positions when we hardly have any fit defenders! And when we know we can't play 352 to save our lives. And against a team led by a manager who has played that system his whole career and has mastered it. Just madness.

Sell him in the summer.

 

He makes too many mistakes, you can't rely on him anymore. He's just a bomb scare on the pitch at times now, even with Evans next to him.

 

Amartey is now a better CB than him and that says it all.

Soyunchu has been sh1t for months now.

 

I think people only ever liked him because his hair looked cool. Evans masked the fact that he's actually a very poor defender.

 

He just looks slow, mentally and physically. 

 

Get rid of him ASAP.

Hilarious he’s even stalling on signing a new deal, where does he think he can go? because it certainly isn’t any higher than us. Get him gone in the summer whilst we can get some form of fee.

 

Erratic, irrational and braindead, has been for months! He’s let us down when we’ve needed him to step up the most …..
