Popular Post Manini Posted 4 December 2019 Popular Post Posted 4 December 2019 Just want to mention, Vardy has every chance of scoring 100 goals in 200 premier league games. That’s a phenomenal return. He’s got 9 games to score 6 goals. 17 1

That said I know what you mean, we've looked more convincing on the road as of late despite picking up win after win at the KP. 1
Blue-fox Posted 4 December 2019 Posted 4 December 2019 Surely can’t be playing Perez. Needs a spell on the bench. I’d also rest teliemens and start Praet. 1

Midfield battle will be intriguing to see as their midfield is really good like ours We’ve got N’Didi to combat Grealish dictating play and driving forward into dangerous areas. Villa will struggle to contain our midfield on the whole. 1

Considering his record in our first season back and the poor periods where he was misused in Ranieri's 2nd season and Puel's tenure - its even more phenomenal. We could not have been luckier to have had not only a top class striker, but one who's stayed with us and truly taken on the status of our best ever. 5
Foxxed Posted 5 December 2019 Posted 5 December 2019 I think we need some new blood. Praet, Gray if available and perhaps Ian with Vardy. 1
Dan Posted 5 December 2019 Posted 5 December 2019 We definitely need to up our game here. Don't know why I'm not that confident for this. We rarely seem to turn up at Villa. 1
HighPeakFox Posted 5 December 2019 Posted 5 December 2019 Cannot keep churning wins out, something will give somewhere. Got a feeling it'll be this one. Hope I'm totally wrong.
NaijaFox Posted 5 December 2019 Posted 5 December 2019 (edited) Reading through the thread has led me to the conclusion that I must be one of the scant few (if not the only one) not overly impressed with Villa's performances this season, and believe that if we get off to a good start we win in a canter. Also, I would stick with Tielemans starting over Praet at Villa Park, the former's pedestrian showing tonight notwithstanding, and let him play (rather than sit) his way back into the quality we all know he's capable of. The chance that fell to Praet tonight would have most likely been handily dispatched by Tielemans. Nothing against Praet, who is quality himself, but there is the League Cup game against Everton to rest Tielemans. I would however start Gray (if fully fit) over Perez at Villa Park. HybridFox Posted 5 December 2019 Posted 5 December 2019 Has to freshen the starting line-up. We look laboured today. Would be tempted to throw Iheanacho with Vardy 1
UPinCarolina Posted 5 December 2019 Posted 5 December 2019 Start this one with Praet in for Youri, Gray on the pitch, Nacho for Perez, Chilly back on, and Justin in for Ricardo?
Jattdogg Posted 5 December 2019 Posted 5 December 2019 We can keep on winning games because we are bloody fantastic. 3-1 Leicester. 2 points from safety! 1
TheLittleBigMan Posted 5 December 2019 Posted 5 December 2019 Rodgers can play whatever team he likes. Gets to choose from three of our development squad too. Bloody yes. 1
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 5 December 2019 Posted 5 December 2019 Another tough game a 2-1 win for Leicester would be gr8

dayday Posted 5 December 2019 Posted 5 December 2019 This game will suit us much better than the last two, and seeing Chelsea had 25 attempts last night, they are there for the taking.

Shows how much he's improved. A lot people (including myself) were saying he's had too many chances and should be sold 3/4 months ago.

Nalis Posted 5 December 2019 Posted 5 December 2019 I'm with Izzy on this one, have a feeling this when the winning run ends. 1-1

But if wilf sticks with him he can keep him quiet playing as he is at the minute. In fact N'didi doesnt even look like he's trying that hard and is still bossing it.
