These performances have been worse than any under Puel. And the tactics and subs are no better either 

 

Honestly can't see where the next goal is coming from let alone win. Have tough games coming up and can only see us getting worse.

Game after game we keep missing opportunities, play mostly negative, no confidence to beat our man. First half looked like a turn around, but nothing came of it. 

 

Begs the question, how long can Rodgers keep living off the hot streak we had? It's alright taking credit when you're doing well, but he has to be held responsible when things aren't. Obviously it's not helped by having quality like Albrighton and Choudhury on the bench to change games, but Rodgers needs to get some new ideas. 

 

Of course, it'll be ignored by those going on that we're 3rd and should be grateful. Not like Rodgers has form for being unable to adapt.

Normally an optimist but this is actually worrying. Wheels are falling off rapidly. Only a Chilwell wonder goal in 3 games. The moment he made the first subs we lost all presence in midfield. Chodhury seemed deeper than Ndidi most of the time so the gap to forwards was immense. Seriously can’t understand not having a second striker on to at least try and retain the ball when it goes forward. Very poor tactical decisions. And yes our squad is worse but that applied in first half of the season also

Awful this. Wish football hadn't started again because it's really not looking good for us. No service in the final third and Vardy looks very poor anyway. Also starting to wonder what all the fuss was about around Youri because from what I can see hes fast becoming one of the slowest most laboured footballers I've ever seen. All round low effort, lack of interest, lack of quality and lack of conviction. Worse than Puel. ****ing pish basically.

That second half was rubbish. No threat going forward and no ideas from Rodgers. How did we finish the game with 2 dm in a cup 1/4 final when you need a bloody goal. Hamza no where near good enough to play in that position. We desperately need wingers. Weve needed them for about 3 seasons now. Cant keep playing albrighton and gray if we want to compete at the top of the league. Fuming with that. Absolute waste of time

Brendan has played the wheels off these guys.  Starting our best uninjured XI with an all-out press in the first half was a Battle of the Bulge-type gamble -- which would have worked if Barnes’ and Vardy’s shells weren’t duds.

 

In eight days -- EIGHT DAYS starting at a pre-season level of fitness -- Vardy, Ndidi, Evans, Soyuncu, Chillwell and Justin have logged 270 minutes each.

 

And we kept pushing for the equalizer right to the end.

 

And I keep reading there’s no effort, no passion … disgusting statements from whiners and melts sat squarely on their asses.  Tell me you deserve this top four / cup semi/ cup quarters team.

Hate to be a pessimist but the performance was really quite concerning. 

Rogers needs to have a good look at the squad and come up with a plan B. 

 

Might even be worth having Nacho up front, Perez just behind then Gray and Barnes on the wings.
