We had the chances we just didn’t take them .  Second half was poor but the first half was good. Not sure what else to say really

Genuinely one of the most toothless teams in attack currently. We get into the final 3rd and everyone goes static like we all have to stop and think what to do. There is no fluidity at all and it let's the opposition flood the defence. 

 

Really, really worrying. 1 goal in 3 matches is not good enough. 0 wins is not good enough. Not convinced Brendan knows what to do.

15 minutes completely let themselves down as a collective. 
 

Kovacic came on ran the show. We should have push about fifteen yards as a team up the pitch. Instead we just let them get us deeper and deeper.

We were not *utterly* abject, which is a plus.

 

If you are going to lose, losing by a single goal when you've had a go is obviously not as bad as getting thrashed.

 

We actually pressed and were the better side in spells.  But Chelsea changing it around at half time was decisive.

 

We look a bit bereft going forward.

That second half was so predictable. Butcher all those chances in the first half and the writings on the wall. As soon as they scored you knew that was it.
