CrispinLA in Texas Posted 27 December 2020 Posted 27 December 2020 Bet it's torture being a Spurs supporter, not only do they concede a goal in the last 10 minutes of the game quite frequently but they are so boring and dull to watch, they can't even park the bus if thats what they are trying to do. It"s a good thing for Mourinho that he doesn't have any home supporters when they play at home or away.
The Bear Posted 27 December 2020 Posted 27 December 2020 Zamora is an aboslute clown on punditry. "Spurs played really well" "Winks had a great game". Must be watching a different game. We have Man Utd on Tuesday, another difficult game where every time they fall over it'll be an automatic free kick.

To be fair, at 23 to have scored 50 goals for Manchester United saying he can’t finish to save his life is a bit ott. He is improving all the time and still not the finished article, but is on another planet compared to Silva. 2
Popular Post Corky Posted 27 December 2020 Popular Post Posted 27 December 2020 Players going to ground easily is hugely irritating. Maddison does it far too much for us. 8

Hoopla10 Posted 27 December 2020 Posted 27 December 2020 "They know what I asked them at half-time, if they couldn't do better it's because they couldn't do better." Jose Ah good ol' Jose, throwing his team under the bus.
Guest ttfn Posted 27 December 2020 Posted 27 December 2020 Villa win their two games in hand and they’re one point off the top... I’m loving this season. Not the football of course which is ruined by a lack of fans and over-officious use of VAR but how close the top 9 or 10 are is really refreshing.

But he could quite easily be well over that, he took 3 huge chances to score yesterday. May be a tad OTT, but the point stands of needing to improve his finishing. He is 5 years older than Silva tbf.

They were close to going down last season and they’ve been excellent this season yet gone under the radar mostly. Compare the adulation for Bielsa and it’s completely unwarranted 1

mozartfox Posted 27 December 2020 Posted 27 December 2020 Bielsa is the new Chris Wilder. Even Cascarino has stopped knocking one out over him every week now on Talkshite.
AKCJ Posted 27 December 2020 Posted 27 December 2020 Weird game that Spurs one. Almost like both deserved to lose. Wolves play some pretty football at times but their lack of end product is frighteningly bad. 1

These pundits are all the same, when clubs such as Wolves or Leicester do well they can’t stand it. 2
Aus Fox Posted 27 December 2020 Posted 27 December 2020 This season is very similar to 2015/16, we won it then because we were the only team who got some consistency over the season. Any of the top 9 who can put a run of 8 or so wins together on the spin has a great chance of winning the league. 2

That eventually levelled out and obviously the Prem will too but it definitely is nuts for now.
Ric Flair Posted 27 December 2020 Posted 27 December 2020 If we get top 6 this season, we'll have to better our points total from last season by a fair whack IMO. Top 4 might require 76+ points.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 27 December 2020 Posted 27 December 2020 A Spurs fan on the 606 phone-in after the match said he'd just take a top-4 finish, as if they're guaranteed one. The entitlement pisses me right off, 1 point above 9th place, with Villa and Man City very likely to overtake them with their games in hand 1

The big difference this season is Liverpool are dropping points, dishing them out to everyone except us I think 62/63 should be enough for 6th still. 11 wins out of 23 needed. I reckon 71/72 for 4th, can't see us getting that but we'll have a good go. In other news... 4

Martinez has been a huge signing for them, too. 5
