Arkie Bennett Posted 26 May 2021 Posted 26 May 2021 Coming up...the usual discussion among the pundits about how many players United need to sign. 1 1

Spudulike Posted 26 May 2021 Posted 26 May 2021 So only LCFC and ManC (assuming they beat Chelsea) are the only English clubs to win a major trophy this season. 4
RowlattsFox Posted 26 May 2021 Posted 26 May 2021 Turns out penalties in half empty stadiums aren't as difficult Funny, but have to feel for De Gea for missing but he was rubbish in the shootout. Luke Shaw deserved to miss for his woeful effort. Great for a team like Villarreal, gwon Iborra.
ARTY_FOX Posted 26 May 2021 Posted 26 May 2021 To be fair, villareal's penalty taking was superb. If their keeper didn't have the weakest hands in NATO he saves the one from fernandes and Shaw. 1

foxes_rule1978 Posted 26 May 2021 Posted 26 May 2021 Trophies since Maguire joined Man U: Leicester 1-0 Man U

Stuntman_Mike Posted 26 May 2021 Posted 26 May 2021 Absolutely fantastic. Villarreal with a population less than Loughborough have Bruno in tears! Amazing 1

Their penalty taking was pretty good. Rulli was worse in that shootout in terms of saving them. He should of saved about half of his.
foxfanazer Posted 26 May 2021 Posted 26 May 2021 Quite possibly my favourite penalty shootout of all time 1
fox_up_north Posted 26 May 2021 Posted 26 May 2021 Haha. Only saw the pens. De Gea's career is surely over at United
Popular Post BenTheFox Posted 26 May 2021 Popular Post Posted 26 May 2021 After goalkeepers it should definitely go to managers. I'd love to see that! I'm pleased for Villareal. They massively overacheive given the size of the town and I'm glad to see Emery win a trophy after being mocked for attempting to speak in a foreign language. 5 1

RowlattsFox Posted 26 May 2021 Posted 26 May 2021 Pot 2 in the champions League is ridiculous next season.
fox_up_north Posted 26 May 2021 Posted 26 May 2021 Cavani looks miffed, like he's just realised he's signed a contract extension
Popular Post StanSP Posted 26 May 2021 Popular Post Posted 26 May 2021 Oh man. Fernandes' tears. Inject them. 8
Sampson Posted 26 May 2021 Posted 26 May 2021 The goalkeeping on the penalties was absolutely abysmal. I think the "goalkeepers are win-win in penalty shootouts - because they can only be heroes or forgotten" is so off and excusing bad goalkeeping. I'd be utterly livid at De Gea if I was a ManUtd fan. Both keepers ived way too early and made it easy for the takers to pick their spot. Doesn't surprise me that De Gea hasn't saved a penalty since 2016. Got to be a strong nomination for worst penalty saver in the history of the game.
Popular Post rn9013 Posted 26 May 2021 Popular Post Posted 26 May 2021 Love seeing how much it means to the Villarreal fans. Really pleased for them. 13
