Don't you think that's kind of ignoring the fact this is only the second game of pre-season? There is no way any team will be at full tilt come the beginning of the season. It's truncated, and affected by other factors.

Tavares looks pretty good, think he could be around the squad this season. Depends if we think he would benefit from regular Championship games more than the odd couple of games in our squad?

It really wasn't that bad. If we had lost, yes it would have been bad. We didn't, and some youth players showed their merit in a fairly meh display.

Thought Gray looked lively and positive.

There’s pros and cons to take from that really. Still really lacking the final product from everybody on the pitch, nobody can finish or make that final pass. 
 

Thought Thomas looked poor today, JJ at RB was class but he also looked poor when he went to LB. Cags, Johnson and Benko all seemed solid enough at CB. Tiele was decent enough. Barnes was poor and Gray looked better. Tavares has some good and bad points but played well for an 18 y/o, KDH seemed good when he came on. 
 

Not sure why else to pull from the game.
