He was all action today, not just with a goal, but so many key passes, playing our way out of trouble and even tackling! I also felt that after going down a goal, he showed signs of trying to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and win it. That for me is the final element to his game he needs to reach the gold standard. Take Luka Modric against England for Croatia in the 2018 world cup. They were down, but he just kept his team playing, kept dictating the play and eventually they ran out as convincing winners. Youri is sill just 23 and can learn how to do that. He almost did do it tonight! Wonderful player. 13

He is getting noticed for the absolute class player he is. I hope we keep him for many years to come. 1
