I don't mind him taking the penalty, although why Vardy wasn't demanding it I don't know. But the penalty was pathetic.

Are people not aware the that the ‘player A holds the ball until penalty is ready to be taken and then player B takes the ball’ trend happens in just about every premier league game now? Do people live in a box?

Unpopular opinion but it’s only a shit pen because Pickford stood (as his water bottle shows). If Pickford dives either way and ball hits the net nobody says terrible pen

Think some of the comments are a bit harsh, was a heinous penalty (he’s clearly not got the nerve for them) and his output wasn’t great but he was stepping up and taking responsibility in the second half, he’s been carrying us all season

Yet he’s gone missing when it matters. He’s never delivered in a big game.

Interesting, I did wonder after the penalty if everyone would lay into him.

 

Personally I think that was his best game for us for a while.

 

He made lots of great turns great passes, dribbles.

 

But sadly people tend to focus on the bad things and make it stick in their mind, easily his best performance under Dean in my opinion and shows he is coming into form.

 

Tielemans I think bailed out the penalty so we had a situation where the person who isnt the taker took it, like the Knockeart situation.
