Playing a defensive formation and asking us to play attacking is just leaving us short up front and at the back. Absurd that we're still in this shape haha.

Agreed.

3 at the back works when you have to defend and soak up the pressure...

has to be said our 3 at the back are playing much wider apart in this game. they were much more narrow against man city

Perez has been poor but making him the scapegoat when we've defended duicidally is worse.

Soyuncu, Justin and Evans have all been worse than Perez.

We're losing the game in midfield, not in defense. Our passing is off, our first touch is off, we're being outmuscled. Bad time to play West Ham.

Well, this sounds like a disaster.

I'll see you lot at full time, I've got short-dated meat to discount and I could do without throwing minced beef at the wall in a fit of rage.

That was unforgivable. Barnes had the ball and there was space between the centre half and the fullback and Perez just carried on jogging rather than seeing the space and running into it. Completely shut off Harvey's options.

As much as Rodgers has got this wrong, a number of players have been awful

I don’t support the claims of getting things wrong. This side should be more than capable of beating West Ham. Yea they got a decent result against Wolves, but defensively they are more often than not horrible. The players just haven’t been up for it. Cags has been shocking, Amartey absolute wank, and Perez a show pony.

Really disappointed in the lads today. Let themselves down badly.

Why is it that Brendan Rodgers always starts thinking he is some County Antrim Alexander the Great and ends up ****ing everything up. No one minds trying to keep Man City out but against bums like West Ham play your best side ffs.

Tbf we can’t play our best side because of injuries but we could have played a different formation.

3atb was an awful decision

Arrogance. Because it worked once he thinks it will work every time because he’s brilliant.

He got lucky last week and has been sussed out again this week. Same old story, he’s not going to change.

What a load of shite

This one's on Brendan. Negative set up = Negative result.

These are playing well because we are letting them play well.

Soyunchu,  Barnes, James & Perez all been woeful.

Need to change it at half time but Brendans probably too proud to admit he set us up wrong.

Spot on. At this point moaning about him is like moaning that your dog doesn't use the toilet. He will never stop having these moments.
