Allied to which playing in a defence that had its 1st clean sheet yesterday since matchday 1.  Must be like the London Blitz in that back line in the last 3-4 months.

I'd love to be able to join in with all this modern taking offence stuff but I don't actually know anyone that was in the London Blitz, so I can't. I'm sure that some will oblige

only at Leicester could a dead leg result in a player being out for 2 f**king months. now we have no fit right backs and we'll end throwing JJ into playing 3 games a week

If you were a switched on player and Leicester were after you, you'd probably reconsider based on how often our players are out.

Serious questions need to be asked of the management, fitness coaches, physios and doctors. We have an elite training facility with the medical/recovery equipment. What are we doing to address these issues? It's not just a case of fixture congestion.

Vontae campbell will be on the bench then. Hope I’m proven wrong but he doesn’t look like a good defender when I’ve seen him.

similar reservations but he was playing lb and he's a rb

Worrying everything in that article from Rodgers puts it down to fixture congestion, which is why the inquest should be independent and not led by Rodgers or the current medical team

Was basically an ever present for Atalanta, crazy how he's been so badly affected since coming here.

Really didn't deserve it given that horrible injury he sustained in the Euros.

Get well soon Tim!

Sue Gray was leading the “independent” inquiry 🧐 - Let’s be honest, we’re obviously not doing something correctly, as no other club has been hit with the amount of injuries that we have had over the last 2 years.

Rodgers has always said he likes to work with a small squad and this just proves that nowadays u need numbers especially if u want to compete in Europe aswell. The players are knackered

We have a 25 man squad like everyone else.

While the training methods may be questionable, it's also no doubt that fixture congestion did/does play a part?

Fixture congestion is nothing new, many clubs face it, so imo it’s more to do with our training methods.
