I'm so confused. Not sure I've seen an lcfc result/performance like that in my 25 years supporting the club. Just bizarre. We were so tepid for 75 mins and then cruised past the champions. Love it.

Without our master tackler Wilf we might have lost that 0-4.

 

With him we somehow win 3-1.

 

Our most important player - and man of this match by a landslide (unseen of course by that buffoon McManaman).

Yup.  A truly awful performance by most of the squad for 75 minutes, with Ndidi monstrous and Ricardo just a notch behind.  We were gifted that one honestly and thank goodness we were good enough to take advantage, but don't gloss over how lucky that all was.  For most of the game we were a disaster.

I hope this shows Rodgers that the minute we stop treating these teams like they are invincible we can go toe to toe with them and come out on top.
