AjcW Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 Well we will have a youth team centre back on the bench I assume? Unless he'd be happy to put Wilf back there with midfield back up on the bench instead.

Bamboo Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 Burnley away, a fixture absolutely nobody wants for a mirage of footballing reasons, especially now. This is our Trojan War so unleash the Trojan horse, Morgan, Mendy, Amartey, Choudhury. Strap yourself in because none of us are ready.

chrishlcfc Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 Honestly want to see Big Wes in the team if fit. Burnley don’t have any pace and we need to get some bollocks in the team. I reckon we need to make some wholesale changes the players who are fit/available look out on there feet at the minute
Manini Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 Going to be an absolute war this. We’ll have a much clearer idea of where this season is going after this one.
Ric Flair Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 The smallest glimmer of hope in these next few games are that Burnley and Brighton are crap but even if we look to just scrap it out, we are so bad at set pieces that they are bound to win that battle. I'm scratching my head how we put together an attacking team though. Schmeichel Amartey Soyuncu Fuchs Ricardo Tielemans Mendy Castagne Tavares Iheanacho Vardy
Popular Post Bert Posted 28 February 2021 Popular Post Share Posted 28 February 2021 Kasper Ricardo Amartey Soyuncu Castagne Tielemans N’Didi Under Iheanacho Albrighton Vardy People saying rest so and so. We don’t have the depth to rest players at the minute. We have 3 winnable games coming up. Time to turn the doom and gloom round. 16
M0901 Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 6-0 Burnley Ben Mee double hat trick half the players breaking a leg from each goal and we get relegated x I mean it won’t be that bad. I see a draw here.
Corky Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 They are getting tonked already, they struggled to hold West Brom against 10 men. We are capable of nicking this, depends how draining today was.
foxfan92 Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 This is better. Seemed far too optimistic in the pre Slavia Prague and Arsenal threads and look how those games ended up. Now FT is back to it normal level of pessimism maybe results will improve too. (I dont want this thread to seem too optimistic and curse things so I'm going to complain about the number of injuries we have and say we're bound to lose). OrielCaziado Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 Siege Mentality time. Fortunately we are still in a position where we can ride a couple more bad results and still have things in our own hands. Play for a dour draw here and hope like someone as already said we might shit house a win like we did at Arsenal. Somehow nick 3 or 4 points from these next two games and hopefully we may have some extra bodies back after that.

RowlattsFox Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 Only solace is that we've been good at beating shite away from home, 2 good opportunities this week to carry on that but we have to stamp our authority in the game, control the ball and we are better than them. Ian Nacho Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 I’d definitely be giving Ndidi and Vardy a rest for this one.
Rigga Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 Vardy isn’t and hasn’t been right since his Injury... he pulled up after about 10 mins of the first half.. not sure why we do though tbh. it’s not like we have anyone anymore to actually give him any supply

Suzie the Fox Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 Much too early to be thinking about the game, it will be all too reactionary based on what we just watched.
nnfox Posted 28 February 2021 Share Posted 28 February 2021 Burnley game was always more important than the Arsenal game. Our players are running on empty but we need a big pysh from them against Burnley and the Brighton next weekend. After those two games we only have 1 Premier League fixture in the rest of March. So, massive effort, then rest up and be as fresh as possible for the business end of the season starting in April.
